You may have a point about who's the aggressor......I just think Floyd is the type who's more "concerned" about his opponent, thus he would be aware of the fact that he possibly hits just as hard as Sweet Pea and would possibly play "role" of aggressor. It would be a helluva chessmatch....
The first fight was about 10-2, it was a boxing lesson in Pea's favorm, the decision was one of the worst in the history of the sport, worse than Chavez/Whitaker. The rematch was not even remotely competitive and Pea white-washed him easily.
Even if he did play the aggressor, do you consider Floyd Mayweather a better pressure fighter than the likes of Chavez, Nelson, Ramirez, Vasquez, etc? I certainly don't. Whitaker was probably the best ever at fighting off the backfoot.
I'm in full agreeance with you today bud. You're finally talking some sense and leaving your bitter past behind you.
I don't know where you got the idea that I'm Mexican, or in any way hispanic. But, ****-Pea sure made a nice stepping stone for Delahoya and Trinidad.
Sure sucks that a dope-head disgraced and embarrassed all of your heroes, doesn't it? What does that say about them? It's cool if you change the quote, at least we all know the truth. Afterwards you can go light another candle and cry in the bath-tub, reminiscing about how Whitaker scarred you for life.:good
"He's good. He's got good skills, good mechanics. I respect him and I don't take anything away from him. But he ain't no Pernell Whitaker." -Pernell Whitaker's opinion on Floyd Mayweather Jr. He's right, PBF doesn't lose to bums.
