Of course this is all highly devatable but i just thought of it, as the current crop of elite fighters are pretty old. Who do you think would feature?
Somehow, Bernard Hopkins will probably defy all logic and still be on that list in 2014, as he continues to baffle all comers from MW to LHW.
Thats the first thing i thought of when i saw the thread title. surely he'll have retired by then though........
He'd be what 50 by then? It would be pretty embarrassing for young fighters to get their ass handed to them by a 50 year old. Great entertainment for the rest of us though:good
B-Hop to move up to Cruiser and dominate for a few of years before becoming Undisputed Heavyweight Champ at the age of 50
Yeah, it would be entertaining. Taking Foreman's philosophy to a new level. I mean, has anyone EVER been successful in boxing at that age? I'd venture to say no.
His problem is going to be getting good fights in such a weak division, I've just read that he's only 5' 2 1/2" so his size won't lend well to moving up in weight. His best bet for making a legacy would be to unify all the belts and make a large number of defenses cause there's no big fights coming his way.
