1 Manny Pacquiao 2 Sergio Martinez 3 Nonito Donaire 4 Juan Manuel Marquez 5 Wladimir Klitschko 6 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam 7 Timothy Bradley 8 Cotto 9 Andre Ward 10 Yukoris Gamboa Firstly, Mayweather has had 2 meaningful fights in the last 4 years. The Ortiz fight ended in farce. He needs to be active if he wants to be on the P4P lists. Sucker punches, whether legal or not, do nothing to add to your P4P ranking. Floyd has to earn the P4P spot in the ring, it isn't a right. You can't be retired, go on random vacations, then win a fight on a sucker punch and get catapulted back up to the top. PBF was the best 4 years ago, nowadays people have to guess how good he is, cause he sure as **** isn't proving it. Secondly, Pacman has had 9 meaningful fights in that same period of time, and the only person he didn't dominate is JMM - who is a great fighter and Pac's achille's heel. If you think that JMM would have beaten all of Pac's opponents as easily as Pac did, then you can start doing things like move JMM ahead of Pac. Otherwise, you are just being ****ing ******ed. Anyone who doesn't have Wlad on their list is also ****ed in the head. Pongsaklek is there, but I wouldn't argue with anyone having him lower. He needs to fight someone from outside of Asia to prove where he stands on the world stage. I'll happily put Ward in his place is Ward beats Froch as easily as I suspect he will.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA beating Ortiz gets you to number 1 now does it? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Beating Ortiz gets you to 1, beating JMM loses you the 1 spot. Wow, there are some stupid people in the world. atsch:rofl:roflnut:rofl:rofl:dead:dead P.S Bradley, ahead of Khan? if people want to move JMM up for losing, then wtf is Bradley doing ahead of Khan haha. Ward ahead of Froch? ... um Wlad anyone? wow.
People can you help me understand why Gamboa is there? He has Solis, DeLeon and Salido. Good, but is it really top 10 material?
P4P lists aren't just resume, but also ability. That's why Gamboa is there. It is also why people are putting Floyd on their list. But at least Gamboa is actually showing what his current ability is. Floyd has shown us very little in the last 4 years.
1. Pac Man 2. Floyd 3. Marquez 4. Wladimir Klitschko 5. Donaire 6. Martinez 7. Vitali Klitschko 8. Pongsaklek Wonjongkam 9. Gamboa 10. Abner Mares
See the way I work mine is based on quality of opponents and fashion of victory. I also then take into account weights. Obviously its subjective though. I have Floyd at 2 because he came back and showed he hasn't got any worse. Hence he returns at his former place in my opinion.
Theres been some damage done to my P4P list recently. Not sure I'd have either Ward or Gamboa in mine...just not sure who is more suited to their positions. ****ing Segura
After the S6, if he wins it, I will agree with you. Right now he beat one guy outside the P4P list 2 years ago in Kessler, then Green not even in top 20 SMW, Bika a good fight but not P4P worthy and Abraham...
1) Pac (even if he lost to JMM as he should have he should still be there. One loss would not negate all previous victories.) 2) Floyd (I get what people are saying about his activity but still easily #2 in the world) 3) Martinez 4) JMM (you could argue he is too high. Apart from the fight versus pac, has not fought anyone after Floyd) 5) Donaire 6) Wonjongkam (Not in the best division and not always up against the best but he is very active) 7) Wlad Klit (Not an ATG at heavyweight but still incredibly dominant) 8.) Ward (Will move up to 5 or 6 if he beats Froch) 9) Bradley 10 Froch (Just ahead of Gamboa. A loss would push him out of the top 10 though)
