Ward shouldn't even be on the list. He has one single good win (Kessler). Being American is not enough to be on the p4p list.

If Ward beats Froch, then he'll diserve to be on the top ten.

Why is the world would Mayweather be ranked #1 after beatin Ortiz, it's ORTIZ, come on, Ortiz wasn't even top 20 p4p, how in the world does having a victory, a controversial victory at that, make him the#1 p4p fighter over Pacquiao and Marquez who both have fought better fighters, Marquez just beat the former #1 p4p fighters moving up from lightweight, Pac lost but had great performances in the last 2 years, all May has is past prime rusty Mosley and the great Victor Ortiz, you can't be serious, Both Donaire and Martinez should be ranked ahead of him, at the very best May should be # 5.

What a joke, just as funny as having May at #1

Marquez just beat Pacquiao, who did Donaire beat Montiel, who did Martinez beat Barker, and not one of those 2 who you have ahead Marquez went up 2 divisions and beat the bets fighter at that division, Marquez was a LIGHTWEIGHT, Pacquiao a WELTERWEIGHT, but it does't matter right, since Marquez is taller than Pac, but oh wait then what was Tommy Hearns doing fighting at welterweight when a shorter fighter like Tyson was dominating at Heavyweight.

Marquez is #1, he beat the #1 one former #1 fighter period. Marquez has been top 3 for years, now he's #1.

Katsidis was a bum all along right? But Ortiz is a top fighter right? Ortiz has quit to a fighter in Katsidis's level. But that's a good win for Floyd, and Katsidis win is worth nothing. If Marquez is rated too high for moving up two weight divisions and beating Pac, then May shouldn't even be top 10.

    1. Floyd money mayweather - and still:happy
    2. Pac - he got beat but that doesn't remove his recent achievements
    3. jmm - i would have put him over pac but he loss on paper and didn't do anything recent but only beat pac
    4. Donaire - this guy is on a roll, people say his last fight was bad but fact is he won a boring wide UD
    5. Ward - this guy is the real deal, in under 24 fights he has already got some great wins against solid top fighters, i expect him to win against froch and if he does i will move him over at #3
    6. Vlad - gets underrated when it comes to p4p list because of how bad the HW division is but he deserves this spot imo
    7. Froch - his resume is simply amazing, and all of that started after he beat an undefeated jean pascal, the taylor win is still pretty good.
    8. Bradley - his stock just rose after peterson beat khan, making the win against an undefeated peterson more significant plus his best win against alexander
    9. Martinez - he gets overrated sometimes especially in this forum, his wins are still good though with williams as his best win.
    10. Cotto - he re enters p4p status after avenging his loss over margo where a lot of people think he would lose again. Plus he solidifies himself as #1 at 154 lbs

Katsidis was a bum, you seriously comparing him to ortiz? boxrec alone will disagree with ya. Oh and maidana isn't even katsidis level, he got the wba 140 belt and is now fighting alexander for it. In today's age when there are lots of paper belts katsidis couldn't even get one. Its laughable how you side to katsidis on this one. Ortiz is mexican bruh:lol:

    :good:lol:

I'd move it around a bit, but I have no problem whatsoever with the OP's list.

    Mine:

    1. Mayweather

    2. Pacquiao
    3. Marquez

    4. Donaire
    5. Martinez
    6. W. Klitschko

    7. Bradley
    8. Ward
    9. Gamboa
    10. Bute

Others in the running: Pong, Mares, Moreno, Hopkins, Froch, Chocolatito, Nishioka. The only guy I feel doesn't belong who I keep seeing mentioned is Cotto. He's one of my favorite fighters, but his slate of wins at 154 is kinda mediocre, and head to head I think he'd have problems with a lot of other guys at the weight. That, and I still don't understand how people have Vitali in their top 10. Back end of the top 20, maybe, but he's had a MUCH weaker slate of opposition than his brother over the last several years.
