I recently created the Calzaghe thread stating he was the greatest of all time, which came under a little bit of criticism, so I thought I would do some research and create my very own top 30 p4p boxers and to see if Calzaghe truly was p4p number 1. Here are my findings:

    1. Joe Calzaghe: 46-0
    2. Rocky Marciano: 49-0
    3. Sugar Ray Robinson: 173-19-6
    4. Harry Greb: 260-19-19
    5. Henry Armstrong:149-21-10
    6. Willie Pep: 229-11-1
    7. Muhammad Ali: 56-5
    8. Sven Ottke: 34-0
    9. Roberto Duran: 103-16
    10. Sam Langford: 204-46-52
    11. Ricardo Lopez: 51-0-1
    12. Gene Tunney: 80-1-3
    13. Archie Moore: 185-23-11
    14. Sugar Ray Leonard: 36-3-1
    15. Joe Louis: 66-3
    16. Lennox Lewis: 41-2-1
    17. Marvin Hagler: 62-3-2
    18. Julio Cesar Chavez: 107-6-2
    19. Ezzard Charles: 93-25-1
    20. Jose Napoles: 79-7
    21. Carlos Monzon: 87-3-9
    22. Thomas Hearns: 61-5-1
    23. Carlos Ortiz: 61-7-1
    24. Salvador Sanchez: 44-1-1
    25. Pernell Whitaker: 40-4-1
    26. Naseem Hamed: 36-1
    27. Jack Johnson: 72-13-9
    28. Michael Spinks: 31-1
    29. Jack Dempsey: 66-6-11
    30. Alexis Arguello: 82-8

Sorry if I have missed out any boxers. Thoughts and comments please. :good

(I kept out any current boxers).

I was thinking Langford may have been higher, but other than that I can't see any problems.
