    RECENT performance. That is it.

Resume alone means jack **** in a p4p list. Oscar is a lock for top place in that scenario. Recent resume counts.

H2H I consider a little, but it shouldn't be the overriding thought. That gets too subjective, you just get wild lists with people picking their favorite fighter.

P4P is solely based on resume/performances. Skill level could be important, but in reality, it has little part as if a less skilled fighter A beats the better competition than the more skilled fighter B, A gets the better ranking, simple as that. Of course, as TFFP said, recent competition matters more. But if it was skill level Joan Guzman, Juan Manuel Lopez or Yuriorkis Gamboa would be on the list. But they aren't.

Who you did beat is alot better then who you "could" beat.

This is boxing there is no sure things so you cant say for sure that boxer A could beat boxer B.

Recent Accomplishment for me. Though a fighter's past resume factors in, his most recent exploits carry more weight.

In the last 3 years, Hopkins. I had Hopkins ahead of Calzaghe before their fight. Of course he LOST to Calzaghe, so Joe took over, and stayed at a higher place, as Kessler-Hopkins-Roy is a better run than a close loss to Calzaghe-win over Pavlik, and that's their last 12 months.

ok mate, i understand...but for me wright-close loss to calzaghe-pavlik is a better run than kessler-hopkins(close win)-jones jr...

but i based my p4p rankings on who beats who, that's why i have jcal ahead of bhop..

i put darchinyan a little higher than donaire because im not sold to donaire beating mijares...

Are you trying to say that Wright at 170lbs was a better victory than a prime Kessler at 168, a fight that unified the division? Wright looked like a hot air balloon :nut

Calzaghe's recent run had been better including a win over Hopkins himself to seal the deal, he deserved his top 3 ranking.

Now he's "retired" he drops out altogether, so its not really an issue.

^^no, i agree the wright is very out of shape... before, for me 154 wright has the best body..

but the bhop win over pavlik is so huge that it makes the big difference. that win, for me, made bhop a better accomplished boxer in recent years than jcal...
