I would question Arce placing as well as Pac now that he has moved away from his natural weight. He is still a solid puncher, but definitely not a home run hitter for his weight class. Cintron and Wlad are good picks though. Raf is solid but I don't know if I would have him at number 1. Still it is a very hard comparison to make.
Victor Oganov is a great pick, although until he steps up his level of competition it is going to be hard to judge.
I think what makes Rafa number 1 is because he consistently hits hard with all his perfectly thrown punches every punch is just solid as all hell. Where as Vasquez he has to rip a hook or a hard right.Rafa can throw any kind of counter punch and that **** can knock you into next week. Technically Cintron/Miranda/Vic aren't anywhere near the skill of Rafa..I think thats why I'd place him above them because in a fight Rafa would definitely hurt you more with his power.
Yeah, he is definitely drained at Cruiser, but he still has absolutely mental power in both hands. Only 1 man has ever gone the distance with him. Wilson undeniably has power, but hes definitely behind Haye for my money.
yea but he is on his way out the door..Why even mention the guy..It would sound just as absurd if we mentioned Felix Trinidad in this lol And besides Oscar normally KO'd people with nice combinations not really a 1 punch c ya later type of puncher.
uhm i knew he was jokin, thats y i didnt write anything smart back. Relax I knew he was being sarcastic. It was just funny is why I put the smileys
We're talking active boxers, right? In terms of sheer, beat-down power: Vic Darchinyan Manny Pacquiao Edison Miranda Glen Johnson (I love to watch this guy at work.) Vasily Jirov (Ditto - brutal body puncher.) Obviously, those guys aren't complete fighters and have flaws, but they're exciting and willing to risk getting hit in order to deliver their shots. In terms of effective power, delivered on target: Miguel Angel Cotto Manny Pacquiao (What the heck, he's not a one-trick pony anymore.) Floyd Mayweather Juan Manuel Marquez (Sentimental favorite. He won't be on the list much longer.) Wlad Klitschko These guys aren't necessarily the hardest hitters, but their shots count for more, punch-for-punch, against most opponents. (In this regard, I'd call the super-feather division the deepest in terms of P4P punching power.)
