P4P who hard harder Jackson or Mclellan

Hit? Jackson imo had the harder KO punch, and was a natural light middleweight. He only weighed 149 lbs for a fight in '98. McClellan imo had the more damaging full arsenal and possessed a horrific left hook to the body. So I say Jackson.

 

McClellan walked through JJ in both fights nobody walked through McClellans shots.

 

Except for Benn.

Jackson; K.O'd a better calibre of opponent (when G-Man KO'd Jackson the Virgin Islander was half blind and past his best) and carried his power up from 11 stone to middle. G-Man was a weight cutter, much bigger than all his opposition whose two notable wins were over natural junior middleweights.

When he tried to carry his power up his force was evident; unlike the others, Benn got up.

The aesthetics of Jacksons K.Os are unlike anyone else's I've seen. Constantly dropping people like a tree struck by lightning. Hardest puncher ever for me.

Imo Jackson is the hardest puncher p4p I've ever seen. When he landed flush people went down & didnt get back up. He had incredible power & accuracy in both hands & did it all with very limited vision.

 

Agree with this totally. His power was freakish.

 

I've seen all of Julian Jackson's big fights along with plenty of his KO's vs journeymen. His left hook is one of the single hardest shots of any modern fighter imho

He hit so hard there are still many that believe Bomber Graham had a glass chin!

 

The scariest thing about that right hand is it wasnt a huge swing with Jackson getting full leverage, it was almost an arrrrrm punch!

Jackson was a ridiculous puncher in terms of 'pure' power. Arguello and Louis rival him for their all-round application +power, and Foreman had a freakish ability to swing his arms and injure people, but for me Jackson is the hardest hitter I've ever seen.

 

True though ain't it?! One of the maddest punchers I've ever seen.

I think he says himself in the Legendary Nights Foreman-Moorer doc', 'I can do damage to your insides physically' or summat like that. He could punch a hole in a heavy bag. The guy was born to lay waste to people.
