    p4p you have to say guys like Jimmy Wilde (often outweighted by a stone, yet managed 134 wins, 100 by knock out, with only 4 defeats :good

    Also, Sam Langford is a good shout. Started as a LW, and knocked out HW's.

    I'm trying to backtrack some (I believe) eastern European guy from the nineties, he was around middleweight.
    He wasn't extremely good and never progressed beyond contender status, but quit boxing because he couldn't live with the damage he did to his opponents. He already hospitalised a few and killed a guy in the ring when they had trouble to revive his latest opponent after the KO.
    The guy totally freaked out in the ring, thinking he killed another man and to my knowledge never boxed again.
    The knocked out guy appeared to be fine later on, after being out for over ten mnutes.


    It shouldn't be hard to backtrack him because of the obvious reasons, but I never was able too. He had a record something like 32-6 with almost all his wins by KO.
    I believe he was the hardest puncher P4P ever...
    Does anybody know who I'm talking about?

    Depends whether this question is tackled pound for pound or not. If not it comes down to the hardest hitting heavyweight and fighters like Joe Louis and Mike Tyson come to mind. On a pound for pound basis Tommy Hearns has to rank pretty highly. Then there's those hard hitting little Mexicans like Olivares, Zarate and Pintor.

    What's Valero's best KO win? Pitalua? Mosquera? B-level fighters.

    He took 9 rounds to make Antonio Demarco quit on his stool FFS. Valero is a hard puncher but he's not even close to being amongst the best of all time. You've actually got to knock out decent fighters to be mentioned amongst the best.
