P4p?

    This isn't a debate about who is #1 P4P right now but a historical question.
    Joe Calzaghe from Wales and Manny Pacquiao from Philippines are both depending who you ask the curent #1 P4P in boxing.
    The question is when was the last time a boxer not from the United States held the tittle of #1 P4P? Was it Julio Cesar Chavez in the early 90's?
    A fallow up question when was and who was the last boxer to be P4P#1 from a Continent that dose not have the word America in it ?

    cant think of anyone other than chavez...

    question after that.... maybe duran?? or am i going too far back?

    He was never P4P number 1, I dont even think Holyfield held that distinction, the last Heavyweight was Tyson in the late 80's.

    Prince Naseem Hamad would be my guess

    I think he was, Chavez might have taken the spot away from Tyson after he lost to Douglas in early 1990, I will try and look it up.
