IB did you see Mosquera-Perez. I thought Cano would be the more experienced guy in this fight, but Perez has the interim strap.

    Round 6

Cano is winding hooks in to the body, pressing Perez to the ropes, drawing him into exchanges where it's hopelessly one-sided in Cano's favor. Just a lot physically stronger, and puts more into his punches. Perez is rocked back by a right hand but keeps darting in and out hoping to catch Cano with a 1-2. Perez is just a heartbeat too slow getting off, a trigger issue more than a handspeed issue.

    10-9 Cano

    58-56 Cano

You mean Mosquera vs. Callist, the Panama card? No. That's over?

nah the one "blemish" on Perez's record according to Boxrec. It says his corner was upset with the draw, wondering if you saw it and had some input on the level of Perez since I haven't heard of him prior to this fight.

Yes, because listening to people whine about their room-mates is so much better than watching a fast paced fight on a Saturday night. :nut

OK, so I guess we all experienced the same...technical difficulties.

    :!:

Well, PCC seemed to have it well in hand by that point, up through about 2" into the 7th round. I'd be pretty shocked to learn the young buck had turned the momentum back around enough to scrape it out. Even more if he pulled a KO rabbit out of his hat.

    Besides, Solo Boxeo is starting.

    Fortuitous news, everyone! :)

We actually didn't miss anything. (or, less than a minute)

It wound up being a TD7. Cano was cut and it was stopped before the eighth.

We saw most of the 7th round, and it was more of the same, pretty clearly Cano's, and we know Perez didn't score a knockdown or anything to turn it around, so my final card is 68-65 Cano.

    Official cards were 68-65, 68-65 and 67-67.

So that's a majority technical decision, for Cano. :good

Well, we knew absolutely nothing about Johan Perez. :conf

After tonight, I'm inclined to say he's B- (Perez is)

Actually I take it back, I did see Perez before...and yeah, it was against Alberto Mosquera (on the Golovkin vs. Ouma card).

    I had it 96-94 Perez.
