I scored it a draw. Regardless, the 80-72 and 79-73 scorecards were ridiculous. I can see 78-74, and by virtue of the fact that the fight was in Germany, I'm not surprised that Hernandez won.
I know it was a pro fight, I used "typical amateurs fight points win" as a term. A point fight in which both kind of went through their routines trying to score, but not showing great differences in approach, or power. It at times looked something like cuban amateur boxing sparring, albeit Williams was rattled one or two times. Hernandez obviously does not like to go too much for hard impact anymore, since he got countered leading to a KO loss when he did. I rewatched the fight and have to say, the opening rounds before Williams got slower and a bit impressed were hard to score. Basically those rounds were draws.
