Again . . . don't get lost on Pac fighting DLH at 147 . . . it's plain "MONEY FIGHT" I can't see Pac staying at 147 for his last few fights . . . Pac vs Cotto? vs Margarito or Williams? :-( The more logical thing to do is secure his place at 135 by unifying instead of fighting at 147 before he retires.
the only other fight pac takes @147 will be money may IF (big if) he miraculously beats DLH. i can see pac fighting hatton @140 for his last fight if pac doesn't lose that badly vs. oscar (a la steve forbes).
Pacquiao knows his limitations, his fight at 147 is only a one shot deal then a 140 with Hatton. He'll settle at 135...
Well Pac says that he still wants to have 2 more fights after DLH. So its very likely that Pac will fight Hatton and a 135lb fighter before he hangs it up(not necessarily in that order).
cotto, margarito, and williams will kill pacqiao can u imagine manny (5'6) fighting williams (6'1) good lord.
if he beat odh wich is a big ****ing if, then he should fight mayweather jr and leave it at that.pbf walks around at 147 and pac between 145 and 150.thats about as close as he can get to a some what fair advantage in the size difference.other then that all the other ww are to big, they come in a 160.clottey williams margo, just to damn big.size does not matter, but can ww beat a hw just because hes the better boxer and faster, um no. lets be realistic for a change
been a slow day, and it's raining for the whole week already, backreading some threads and came to this. yes another pac thread but it goes to show how people thinks pac would not be relevent above 135. hindsight is 20/20 and now pac uses PEDs, at least according to the mayweathers and his fans.
Almost 3 years ago. He's got to stay away from welter. Now everybody from welter other than Floyd is a cherry pick.
if i posted my opinion back then this would how it goes: "pac fighting oscar at 147 would be just an exhibition. pac is cashing-out for this fight knowing that dela hoya is big money fight." roughly about the same opinion as the others.
