Just read an article from a journalist who had picked Manny Pacquiao to easily dispose of JMM when they fought in their rematch..... .....he's questioning Manny Pacquiao's manhood, citing that Pac's cojones are one stone short! When JMM turned down 750K for a rematch with Pac years ago, he was crucified by boxing boards like these...... According to the article, Pac turned down 7 million + a percentage of the PPV for a third fight with JMM! Spin it Pac maniacs???? :yep Here's the link to that article...... http://www.ringtalk.com/index.php?action=fullnews&showcomments=1&id=1877
I think he's just done with the division, getting older and bigger. He fought Marquez twice, let Marquez meet him at 135 down the line.
Yeah, nevermind that Pac got schooled twice by JMM.....he just must have outgrown it..... .....even though JMM has stated he'd welcome the fight at 135 lbs and Pac has said, no thankyou!:yep
Calling Pac a coward is silly. But saying his team is protecting him isn't silly. Am I the only JMM fan who doesn't want to see a third fight? IMO, JMM already proved he's the better fighter and won both fights. If they fight in another year, JMM's reflexes/quickness will be worse and he'll likely deteriorate physically more than Pac because of his age. I can see Pac having a few more wars left in him, but I don't know about Marquez.
intelligent man. pac knows he matches up very badly with JMM. so he'd rather walk away and fight another champ in david diaz. wouldn't you? i mean pac already fought him twice. got a draw and a win. he's lucky yes, but question his manhood for protecting himself? the writer is on ****ing drugs. the difference here is that pac has already faced him twice. this is not like what mayweather is doing to cotto. lewis chose to retire after fighting vitali. so what? and divac, this author picked manny to ko jmm early as you said, if he said that here before the fight, you would have debated with him. i think it's pretty obvious that his judgement is pretty clouded. pac will get around same or even bigger money against diaz for a lot lower risk. write that down.
Pac is willing to fight jmm 4 a 3rd fight, like pac said:"i'll fight anyone ,anywhere!" so just wait. The real reason why pac wanted diaz is for legacy, plus diaz's name was already appearing before, even after pac-mab2. His name was even ahead of jmm in the waiting list before the signing of the second fight of jmm and pac! So since we boxing fans wanted the rematch to happen, it happened. Maybe after david, the 3rd fight with jmm will happen divac, just wait..
how about the rest of my post? you won't reply to that because you know it's true right? i mean, do you divac, have the balls to call pac a coward? do you? he stepped into the ring many times, gave us a handful of wars and you'd call him a coward? has the writer ever fought in his entire life? if not, he better shut the hell up. i can never call a fighter a coward unless he takes a ****ing dive
For the record, I think Pac is being smart and reasonable not to fight JMM anytime soon. If I was in Pac advisory board, I'd yell and scream not to fight JMM anytime soon.... .....having said that, I'm dissapointed in the Pac team that they're gearing Pac to move up to face Ricky Hatton right after the David Diaz fight. ......I'm dissapointed in that imo, thats not a fight that is winnable for Manny Pacquiao. In essense, what I believe the Pac team is doing is realizing that they're not going to beat JMM at any weight, and are going to cashout in a fight where they will make well above 10 million to fight Ricky Hatton in Manchester England! In the prime of his career, it looks like from the talks in Pac's camp, that he's going to cashout!:? I've got to tell you, if its so, thats dissapointing to me as a boxing fan!
jmm is really a bad match up for pac. anyone with half a brain will figure that out. at least pac is actually making fights unlike the dela hoyas and mayweathers. and he fights well unlike the "heavyweight champion" who jabs his way to victory. he is not a coward
Calm down my friend, I have yet to call Pac a coward. For obvious reasons, he does'nt want JMM again, but I'm not calling him a coward! ....and also for the record, the author of that article if I'm not mistaken, was a pretty good amatuer boxer.
i know you would not call him a coward straight up. that's why i'm saying that the author has bad judgement. amateur boxing is very different and you know that. have you ever heard of anyone die after a amateur fight? i think the author is just pissed that he made a mistake in calling the fight. this is just him little revenge against pac for not knocking out jmm earlt as he predicted
I dont think so.....Pedro Fernandez has always had mad respect for Manny Pacquiao...... I often times find myself disagreeing with Fernandez, but I have no doubt that he writes what he truly believes. In one of his previous articles, Fernandez was rating fighters per each weight class, and in the 130 lbs division, he only mentioned two fighters, Manny Pac, and Joan Guzman.... ....I wrote him on his letters section and took him to task, pointing out that how the hell could he leave out JMM and mention Pac, when he himself believed JMM beat Pac 8 rounds to 4? His response to me was that he left out JMM because he thought that Joan Guzman was the best 130 pounder......and that he mentioned Manny Pac because he was the official champ who was avoiding Guzman. I did'nt agree with his explanation, but I got a sense that he actually does believe that Guzman is the best at 130 lbs. I think he's taking a jab at Pac now, because he realizes that Pac has'nt proven much fighting at 130lbs.....getting beat by JMM, and avoiding Guzman altogether, imo the best fighters in that weight division during Pac's stay there. .....and again, the dissapointment of Pac fighting a gimme in David Diaz, and then possible cashing out against Hatton!
