Carefull there, you're dangerously close to ******* territory.:think

This subject is officially dead to me. I am accepting the fact that Pac will never fight JMM again, unless he loses to Diaz(slim chance)

Let's just move on and cheer for Pac, he is honestly one of the best things to happen to boxing in a while!:deal

pac may fight jmm again. just not now. pac should let jmm win some other fights and maybe gain a bit of age for him to have a better chance.

bottomline is, pac already faced the most avoided fighter in the featherweights. he did it twice. he looked bad against a great counterpuncher in jmm. he managed to get a draw (debatable) and a win (debatable) so why would he want to have a rematch that quick?

after the second mab fight. i said that i would be less of a fan if pac chooses to fight david diaz instead of jmm because jmm then had the title at 130. but then he chose to face jmm even though he knows that it will be a very tough match.

this is not like a vasquez-marquez match. those guys complement each other's style while pac just looks bad against jmm. he has to rely on knocking jmm down in order to win and the moment that he does not knock jmm down at least once, he'll most likely lose.

put this baby to sleep guys. there is really no point to debating about this anymore. pac won the fight (and is in no way, shape or form a coward) and jmm won the respect of many. end of story

nope. i'm definitely not saying that. that's why i acknowledge that even some pinoy fans actually scored it for jmm. i'm talking about the general consensus here not involving both jmm and pac fans due to their obvious biases.

and if it turns out that the general consensus (w/o jmm and pac fans) is that jmm is a very close winner of this fight, then i will accept it. prob is that the judges determine who actually wins the fight not the general consensus, just like it has always been throughout boxing history. the thing is that this fight was very close and there was no robbery with either fighter winning unlike the obvious robberies of the past.

i for one do not want a hatton-pac fight. i don't want to see hatton hug the life out of pac. i think pac should build his legacy at 135 and fight nate, juan diaz, casamayor and maybe even katsidis then call it quits. i appreciate the props though

not true. polls have never influenced me on who i think actually won a fight. there is such a thing as "tyrrany in numbers" and the majority is not always right. that's why i don't believe in polls. i score it as i see it and i had it 6-6 w/ the KD being the difference. that was my very first and only scorecard of the fight. i have never changed it in subsequent viewings or after many people here questioned the decision and posted online polls about it here.

the general consensus does mean something but actual boxing decisions are not based on it. unfortunately, it is the judges who decide and not the general consensus. if pac wouldn't had gotten the decision, i would've accepted it just like i did when he lost to erik w/o question. this was a very close fight after all. no shame in losing a very close fight to a great fighter.

Not only that, but from what I understand, the Pinoy broadcast itself, with Pinoy broadcasters had the fight for JMM!:deal

I can see that with the Pac fans......
.....nothing means **** to you all but what is official.
By those standards, nobody should question anything that is rendered or done by boxing orginizations, commisions, and judges.
We should just accept what they rule, and have a smile on our faces as if to say to them, "great call, I dont agree, but you must know what you're doing!"

Two of the three Pinoy announcers called it for JMM, the lone announcer who had it by a point for Pac, actually works or worked for Pac.....and it means ****?:huh :nut :think

Excuse me for saying, but alot of you Pac fans are a bunch of hypocrits. You criticize anyone who would call the JMM-Pac fights robberies, but yell and scream bloody murder that the ref did'nt call a second knockdown because JMM's right elbow grazed the ring ropes while he gathered his footing!:rofl :nut
.....I see what you're saying, as long as the calls benefit Manny Pacquiao, we should all accept them.....but we should scream bloody murder on any call that can even be remotely thought of as going against Pac, nevermind whether its legit or not, if that was Pac that made JMM lose his balance from a shot, it should be scored a knockdown!
Got you Underdog, I'll try to remember that!:!: :good :!:
