David Diaz is still way more dangerous than Salido, Polo, Jaca combined.

Marquez should be fighting somebody if Pac moved to 135 yet he is still crying over spilled milk. After the Marquez fight, in less than a month, Pac's camp already announced the Diaz fight. There are many fights available at 130 for JMM. If he want to prove that he is the best at 130 because according to you Pac failed to fight the best at that weight, then he should clean out that division and make a name for himself. There are not many names left after MAb and EM retired that JMM could easily clean out that division, just Guzman and Valero. Valero is too crude to be even be competitve while Guzman is toooo featherfisted to be considered dangerous. Against Guzzy who is an excellent fighter, if would probably b a borefest with an outcome decided by a decision. Then JMM would finally cement his status, instead of always living under the shadows of EM and MAB.

Bu that scenario is least likely to happen because JMM's management has the habit of gettng the least path of resistance. Evidence would be fights against fighters who are not even be worthy of tune-ups prior to Mab then Pac rematch. They took the John fight because he was a total unknown (because if you say that just to get out of the Arum contract then they are the stupidest people in the World).

it is hightime that JMM should make a name for himslf. If he is going to retire now, how would he be remembered? Surely, only by his fights with Pac. So stop trying to chase Pac if the fight is not available and start fighting the guys that are available. Otherwise fathertime will catch up with him(same advice for Guzzy who is exactly not a spring chicken).

Just becasue he is not giving JMM, whom he fought TWICE in close two fights, (when everyone in the division supposedly avoided JMM), an immediate rematch and he is a coward all of a sudden?:huh

Listen guys, JMM had all the chances in the world to convincingly beat a lesser skilled fighter in Pac, but he never did it. Unlike in the MAB fight, where clearly, you would know he beat MAB. In his biggest fights, he came up short. Twice.

And now, after the rematch, he is still aching for that 3rd fight, as if he is the only guy worthy of Pac's attention.:patsch

I could diss Pac if he will be fighting a no-namer in 130, but he is fighting for a championship belt, in a division he has never fought before.

I am sure down the line, Pac will fight the likes of Nate Campbell, Casamayor, and the Diazes in the 135 divsion. I don't think these are easy competition.

As for JMM, if he really wants the 3rd match desperately, he can follow Pac and fight champs and contenders as well. There are equally solid fights in the 130 (Soto, Guzman) and 135 (Nate, Casamayor, Diazes) in which his team and promoter can make.

That is, if he is already over his sorry loss versus Pac..:yep

.......these poor Pac fans are a little behind in their reading comprehension......

......they dont actually read before responding.

They see the words Pac and coward, and they automatically assume that I'm calling Pac a coward.

I guess it could be that these Pac fans are having a hard time facing the fact that the shoe is in the other foot after they criticized JMM heavily for not accepting Bob Arums terms years back......
..... and that its hard for them to explain why Pac wont fight JMM again while the fight is still a hot commodity.

Usually a matchup stalls because the fighters build themselves up for the fight to be huge.......
.....in this particular case, a third fight between JMM and Pac does'nt have to work itself up.......
......both fighters are at the height of their popularity as was evidenced by their rematch PPV sales.

.....you would think that they would want to do it again as soon as possible while their last fight is still fresh in peoples minds......

There is a reason why a second fight between DLH and Mayweather is going to happen this fall......PPV sales!

There are better matchups out there for Mayweather, but money talks, and there is no reason why he should be criticised for fighting DLH when its not only a winnable fight for him, but he's not going to get paid more fighting anyone else.

......the difference however in Mayweather accepting a DLH fight and Pac not accepting a JMM fight, is the confidence level.
Mayweather knows he will beat DLH.
Pac at best, is doubting himself, and at worst knows he cant beat JMM without again the help of incompetent judges.!

    Me calling Pac a coward?????

I guess that the Pac fans in this forum are so insecure, that when they read my posts, they are assuming that its what I'm doing.

    Think again gentlemen, and read!:deal

    noone is buying your crap.

You did not flat out call Pacquiao a coward, but sure as hell insinuated that he was. And then you say that Mayweather will rematch Oscar because he knows he will beat him, while Pac is doubting himself or "knows he cant beat JMM without again the help of incompetent judges.!"

    You're such a tool.

What's pathetic is that you're going out of your way to make people think Pac is a coward and scared of JMM, without having the balls to own up to what you are doing.

    You're the coward.

Everyone needs to get past the fact that Pac is fighting Diaz instead of JMM. Everyone knew before the 2nd fight, even pac said it himself, that Win or Lose He was moving up to fight Diaz. Pac won but would people be calling him a coward if he lost then moved up to fight diaz?

At this stage in Pac's career, any well promoted fight he's involved in will do big numbers. Before the Pac fight most casual boxing fans had no idea of who JMM was. He has no where near the name recoginition that Moralas and Barrera have. The reason that the Pac v JMM matchup did bigger numbers is because Pac's name is now bigger because of those previous fights. :hi::hi:

"Then Pac will likely move on to 140 lbs and leave 135 lbs, just like he did at 130 lbs without beating the best of the weight class." -Divac

Divac just said Marquez was not the best of the weight class.

Divac I am disapointed to see this thread. Pac fought him twice, beat him twice, and has fought everyone for that matter. He is the last we should be criticizing for level of comp.

Pacquiao is certainly allowed to look at other options without being referred to as a coward.

This sounds more and more like it's about money. If not, why hasn't Marquez gone after Chris John to avenge the robbery that took place?

Like I said before, reading comprehension is not what Pac fans do best!

....again, go back and read, I said Pac is abandoning divisions without beating the best the divisions have to offer.

He certainly has not beaten JMM. Certainly bought off incompetent judges wont tell me that he did!
Well above 60% of the forum agrees with me on that, and thats a fact!!!:deal

Which incompetent judges are you referring?

    1) When JMM lost to cris john? which by the way JMM never got interested to get his revenge?
    2) When the incompetent judge admitted he made a mistake. Mind you ,being INCOMPETENT made the MATCH a Draw instead a win for
    pac
    3) when the decision favored JMM opponent, DAMN as automatic as the sun will rise on summer time...it's automatic that the judge is INCOPETENT.

As FAR as I recall YOU ARE THE ONLY JMM FAN WHO NEVER ADMITTED THAT JMM LOST. He never never never never never LOST correct?

All the losses was due to corrupt or incompetent JUDGES!!!!!

You want to feel better and believe JMM won by trying to get the nod of esb fans...

The fight happened over a month ago and you haven't gotten over it?
HARD to take out reality? Oh I

tha hell... pac KO'd the man @112, lineal champ sasakul, went up to 122 and KO'd a borderline elite fighter and great technical boxer in ledwaba and ruled the division for 2 years. he then went up to 126 and KO'd top 3 p4p and lineal champ barrera.

no matter what you say, pac has a draw and a win vs. jmm. pac should've won the first if not for a scoring error and won a very close SD in the second. pac has already fought his kryptonite, jmm twice and jmm being the so-called more superior boxer hasn't even been able to win against him yet. so, the one who actually won the two fights here is pac not jmm.

are you sure you're not Jaime Quintana? if not, your blind loyalty and very deep devotion to jmm is already bordering on mental illness on your part. it's already been more than a month after the fight but still you haven't moved on. for your sake, i think it's time you finally see a shrink.
