To be fair, they had a catchweight prepared and they had something ridiculous prepared too. Then they turned it down claiming Mayweather should take care of Mosley and went for Cotto who agreed for a 145 catchweight even though Mosley was going to agree to 141.01.

 

Maybe Mayweather should call out both Klitschkos at a catchweight of 160? Maybe Jean Pascal at 154?

 

Floyd would rather call out Donaire.

 

Only reason Pac accepted is because Mosely said he would come down to 140. He figured it would be De La Hoya all over again. lol.

no he didn't accept anything. Manny has never run his own show. It's like saying because Floyd and Zab said they wanted to fight shane when he had just moved up to welter that those were serious offers. Floyd didn't control his career at the time and neither did Zab.

 

Bull ****en ****. PAc & Roach wanted no part of Mosley. Mosley went into Wild card gym and announce fight was set against Pac through radio stations and Pac came out quickly to deny that fight was made. Fact is they didn't want it but now the Mayweather dominated SSM now they want to fight him.

No he won't. If that is the case, why the catch weights? Why the rehydration clauses? Why duck slick fighters like Guzman and Raheem. Raheem being the guy who easily beat the guy that beat Pac.

 

very false. When Mosley fought Cotto in 2007, people were already saying he was past prime. And when he fought Mayorga those calls were even louder.

There was a resurrected thread from early 2009 about Arum's plan to pit Pac against Cotto, after Cotto's destruction against Margo and after Shane destroyed Margo. Reading the comments then of those "knowledgeable" posters who predicted a mismatch in favor of Cotto is very refreshing whenever historical revisionism rears its ugly head, like in this post.

 

Err bigreg said Mosley was 5 years past his prime which he was. Where did he say he was shot in that example?
