I remember watching this fight back in 2001. Despite how dirty his opponent (Agapito Sanchez) was, Pac continued to fight and never surrender. I still can't believe it was ended as a draw... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBDqNO-EZOI[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVQVWVT2Oco[/ame]
This fight was a straight up robbery. The only round I could give to agapito was the 2nd. With the point deductions and decisive rounds for Pac I cannot remotely imagine how one judge scored it for Sanchez or even the judge who scored it a draw for that matter. Not to mention Sanchez should of also been DQ'd. Dude was just straight up taking a beating and was looking for a way out and got it BIG TIME.
After those nut-punching technique, he even leaned on Pac's knee when both of them fell on the canvas.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this was Pac's 2nd fight in the US right after the Ledbawa fight. Pac was still unknown but I agree with you, it was a straight up robbery and the dude should've been disqualified.
did you see that combination where Sanchez throws a low blow, a rabbit punch, and then a charlie horse? either way he's lucky the fight was stopped cause Pac would've knocked him out fouls or no fouls.
Damn that other dude had speed just like Pac. It shows how well Pac carried his speed when moving up and increasing his power at the same time, now he is just as strong as other big guys but much faster
Dirty or not dirty, Agapito was pushing Manny around and even made him look slow at times with Hopkin tactics. He rough Manny at times and when was the last time Manny has been cut? I remember him being cut in his smaller weight classes and bleeding. Not anymore?
Marquez and Morales. Sanchez was lucky not to get DQd, and then he was lucky to get a draw. Like Martinez vs Cintron, Pac was robbed twice in that fight.
Pacman's pissed that he went to Sanchez corner and want smack him cold. To bad the fight got stopped because of the cut, otherwise Sanchez will be kissing the canvas.
