Pac agreed 3 days before and right after fight blood tests

Pac agreed to be tested right after the fight, both blood and urine.

It appears the Floyd Mayweather Camp is open to a compromise on their demand of random blood testing. “As long as there’s a blood test, as long as there’s a urine test and as long as it’s random, a cutoff date is agreeable to us,” Mayweather’s representative Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions told the LA Times Saturday. Meanwhile, Pacquiao wrote on his blog “I am still willing to Fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. I never said the fight was off or I do not want to fight him. I will fight anyone at anytime and my record and past fights prove that. I have never and will never dodge anyone. These are my specifications for this fight regarding blood testing. I have offered to give a blood sample the day of the announcement of the fight at the press [conference]. I have offered to give a blood sample 30 days before the fight. I am willing to give blood immediately after the fight is over inside my dressing room . I am also willing to give urine tests at anytime any where everyday leading up to the fight. The truth is taking blood out of my body does not seem natural to me and mentally I feel it will weaken me if blood is taken from me just days before the fight. That does not make sense to me why anyone would do that.”


So - it seems Pac has NOT agreed to be blood tested 3 days before the fight. It's the day of the press conference tour, 30 days before, and directly after.

 

This thing is shot to hell and it looks like the fight may not happen.
I think the biggest problem was that the issue over the details of the drug testing was made public.

What happened to the agreement on both sides not to discuss the details until the contract was signed seal and delivered?

I'm sure if these was kept behind close doors they would have settled on a compromise but once it was made public, it became more an issue over principal and personal pride.

 

Something is clearly wrong about not wanting blood and urine tests within that 30 day window.

Hgh is probable. Steroids are out of the question as Manny would have had numerous tendon and muscle injuries at the intensity at which he trains.

I don't accuse Manny of anything but its best to keep an open mind. I remember back in 1995 when I wrestled in High School, how some wrestlers were suspected of juicing. Well, when a 119lb state champ wrestler is benching 275, it raises eyebrows.

That was high school and this is a situation where a whole country is on your shoulders and millions of dollars are at stake. Anything is possible and I have been reading the extremes from both sides. The truth as they say, is somewhere in between.

Where did you get the urine test info from? From the articles online, Pacs camp has agreed unlimited and random urine tests. The sticking point has been the cut off date for the blood tests.
