Pac clearly wants the fight and has it scheduled now will Floyd man up and answer the call?

    So ?

    May 26th sounds good.

That gives Floyd five days to deposit his money and pack for the Big House.

No, I don't really see that as a serious question.

In case you missed Arum now want June 9 and not may 26. Look its all a ****ing mess. Why not just fight on the 5 no one can come up with a good reason. Here is the problem for Team Pac as I see it. Arum has no problem making a Pac JMM fight on May 5, so what the **** is the problem with making the fight with Floyd on May 5?

Its clear they are ducking the fight. Massive cut, building staduims, plenty of double talk.

You really should leave this to the *******s, you wouldnt want to be clumped in with those clowns now would you.

Why fight in front of 15,000 if you can fight in front of 50,000?

A couple of extra weeks and thousands more seats would make it much more likely I would be able to attend. For selfish reasons, I'm all for it.

Waited over 3 years for this. I'm not going to believe anything unless they are both in their corners and the first bell is rung. Even then, I will be pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming.

My guess is that MAyweather perfectly knows that Arum won't accept.

He himself wouldn't accept to lose 20 millions.

But he knows people are gonna blame Arum.

He reserved May 5th perfectly knowing he wouldn't fight Pacquiao at MGM.

My post was in response to thawk888, who asked:

Obviously June the 9th is a different proposition.

But May 26 is the most reasonable date so far mentioned.

Manny wants the fight. Always has.

Floyd wants it NOW. Has been scared of the idea up till a few weeks ago.

And then unilaterally sets a date of May 5 (a day of no particular significance to non-Mexicans) and expects to dictate the terms.

He has used bogus blood tests to avoid the fight when it should have been fought years ago. Pac has agreed to the tests to facilitate the fight being made. Now Floyd wants to set the date without any negotiation ?

BTW, I now have Floyd as a very slight favourite.

Does Top Rank want to fool Mayweather into releasing the May 5th date so they can use it themselves for ANOTHER opponent? Sounds like it

No he isnt. Quite the opposite. He's asking out of the blue for a different date to the one mayweather has challenged him to knowing full well this bull**** is gunna stop it happening at all.

Pac/Arum have found yet another way to avoid this fight but this excuse is hard to swallow.

You dont wanna get involved in the hardest fight of your life on May 31th, and then go to jail June 1th.

Team Pac grosses me out :barf
