First of all If you're working under this logical fallacy that a change of date for all purposes stops the fight than you really have no argument to begin with. You're just talking outta yor ass. Second, even if Pac was bluffing, he would have no prior knowledge of Floyd not calling his bluff. And finally, even if what you're insinuating is true, that Pac is ducking, surely there has to be better ways to duck than actually saying you wanna fight him at late May. That's a bit counterintuitive don't ya think? I mean why not just say I change my mind I don't wanna do OSDT testing.

June 1 was chosen specifically so that Floyd would have 4 weeks to recover from injuries sustained on May 5.

I find it hilarious that fans are actually giving authenticity to Arum's crystal clear attempts to get out of making the fight.

MGM Grand does bigger gates than any other venue. People are willing to pay $1000 to sit in nosebleeds for a big fight because there really isn't a bad seat in the house. People aren't going to pay $1000 to sit in nosebleeds at an outdoor stadium. The pricing structure would have to be modified like what they did at Cowboy stadium.

There are also two outdoor stadiums in Vegas that can hold 40k all the way up to 120k. Use one of those if they insist on bringing the fight to a large live audience.

Pac said his cuts were perfectly healed.

There is honestly no reason from them not to fight on May 5 other than Pac ducking like a trick hoe.

May 5th is the best date of the year and now they want the end of May? A few days before PBF goes to jail??? WTF is up with this ****? May 5th is booked and venue is secured all Pac has to do is agree and we have the fight. Now they throw this **** out there.:-(

That Saturday would fall on the 26th I think. If Floyd wants to spend quality time with his boyfriends Fiddy and Ellerbe, he can go in front of a judge and have his high-priced lawyers explain it away.

He can't recover in the jail? It's nok like he has anything else to do in there?

Well. That's the reason. Mayweather isn't supposed to get to cherry pick everything. And, why not have it at a big stadium? Is the moneyman actually ducking money?

Just another BS excuse, there's venues open in Vegas for May 5th that are 40,000 + capacity at UNLV. Not only that but it wouldn't take 5 months to errect a 40,000 temp stadium in 2011......

it's ridiculous, in the 1921 Tex Rickard built a 90,000 capacity temporary stadium for Carpentier vs Dempsey in far shorter time.....in 1921!!!!!!!!

    check it: http://longstreet.typepad.com/thesci...ight-1921.html

Don't kid yourselves, they can errect a stadium less than half that size like Arum is talking in a month or less in 2012. The stadium is just another excuse.....they already agreed on MGM grand twice before, so why not now when the fight has lost a lot of its original hype.....it def hasn't gotten bigger. Fact is there's open stadiums at UNLV for May 5 and MGM is already locked in so the stadium **** is BS.

It has nothing to do with angling or tactics....it's not that deep kid. It's really common sense. Two top dogs in position to coordinate a big deal..... No one side can dictate all the terms. It's just not smart business nor does it make a bit of sense if you're trying to come to a mutual agreement.

It's exactly what it is Sweets..:smoke Don't over complicate something so simple.

    your such a **** ****ing *******.

If you can't appreciate that changing a date mayweather has set aside agreed by a JUDGE...to a date 5 days before the man goes to prison...is creating serious roadblocks to this fight happening then you need to go back to school because your a moron.

Poochiao is inexplicably insisting on dates that he knows are a non starter because the reality is he doesn't want this fight.

Tell me why not May 5th MGM Grand?
