Because why not the mgm? Why! It was not a problem before! Now it is. I never said pac was ducking and believed he want the fight I'm aiming my comments towards arum. If Floyd booked the mgm then **** it have it there. It's b.s how arum is going to throw this stadium **** around for the fight not happening.

TBH this has got to be some of the dumbest **** I have ever heard! What if construction of the stadium is delayed a month?

May 5 is the biggest day of the calender and will generate more PPV sales with a few strong mexican fighters on the undercard. This and the fact that ticket the difference in price of ticket prices make up that $40 mill.

I am a fan of Pacs but this **** is looking worse for him by the second

That's another thing, does anyone know the situation with that? Is it simple for Mayweather to back out? What's the fee for breaking the contract? Is there a deadline? All of these questions would be great to get answers to, before people start on the "blame the Mayweather train".

So what happens when the "stadium" isn't finished by then for whatever reason, then Floyd makes no money, has essentially lied to the court, and gets completely ****ed over...no ****ing way he does this.

You know what, if Top Rank was saying, "let's build a stadium, we'll have it constructed by beginning of May, ready for May 5th". I don't think anyone would say ****. We'd all be jumping for joy.

But the fact that this "mythical temple" being built is glaringly opposed to what Mayweather wants, and frankly, might need, is an absolute disgrace.

I'd like to think I backed it up with solid reasoning. But why is providing an example of that of any bearing? Like I said due process, show up in front of the judge and explain all the benefits of a a Pac fight. Hate to beat a dead horse here but you choose to deflect instead of seeing that in all likelihood (based on solid reasoning) a judge would be totally ok in granting Floyd a extra couple of weeks due to said extenuating circumstances.

Furthermore they won't lose **** at the gate at the MGM...do you realize how much a ticket will go for? The celebrities and big timers will eat that **** **** up. The " little man"isn't getting in regardless, this will be a high roller event all the way...irrelevant how many seats they got.

That figure is complete bull****. Mayweather/Hoya was attended by about 20,000 fans and had a live gate around $20M(which is a record). So how the hell are they going to triple the gate, with a little more than double the seats? The bigger the stadium, the less you generally can charge on a per ticket average. If Arum really thinks he can triple the live gate record, why wasn't this temp stadium thing done earlier? And why can't it be completed by the beginning of May? It's obvious that he's lying. The date is not the issue. The issue is that Pacquiao's side is not interested in making the fight. That should be painfully obvious.

The problem with this (aside from being baseless and no precedent for it) is why even **** with this, when both sides can make the 5th no problem?

And why not in a stadium? You can argue that point ad naseum, that's not the point. Having a stadium built is not a roadblock to the fight getting made, MAYBE it's a roadblock for the fight getting made in May 5th. Learn the difference and quit yapping about things that are just details.

Because Floyd already has a contract to fight at the MGM and the stadium wouldn't be built in time.

2 pretty massive reasons not to have it at a non-existent stadium.
