And yet the some 10% version of who Pac is today KO'd him.
I think this is where many posters here start quickly developing mental ******ation.
The fact that Pac was such an amateur back then and yet defeated "a style that he's supposed to lose to" quickly creates a vacuum in their heads that's slowly consuming their wits.
Their brains are pushed on a corner where they are left with nothing to hold onto so they create an alternate reality -- in this case, "Sasakul is not slick". ("Pac is on PED's" is the default dreamworld though)
This absurd reasoning restores balance in their heads and soon enough, they can start claiming (dreaming actually), with absolute certainty, that their goddess Floyd will be able to beat Pac.

I have no problem thinking Floyd will pose problems to Pac's style.
But it's flat out stupid to not realize that Pac will earnestly return that favor, maybe even a hundred folds back (or vice versa).

I understand he's 10x better now, but it's not like we've seen him fight that many more fighters since then with head movement, I've seen only 2 fighters who showed it and that was Jorge Solis and Morales. Solis got koed in 8, but he was giving Pac trouble for the 2 rounds before that

 

Cotto didn't show that in his fight with Pac. He try to slug it with him for 5 rounds and then realized he was screwed and danced away. Funny thing though is when Cotto started moving around, it was frustrating Pac
