    You know what would be hilarious? The fight falls through and then INSTANTANEOUSLY Mosley comes out of nowhere and signs to fight w/ Manny.

    I wouldn't be surprised. I believe that's Pac team's Plan B if the Pac/Cotto bout doesn't get signed.

    Pac stated that he wants to fight Mayweather bad. because all BS aside, Pacquiao knows the world wants to see Mayweather-Pacquiao. I have no doubt in my mind Pacquiao-Mayweather would've been this year if Mayweather would've beat JMM in JUly, now he has to wait till next year.

    But what if Cotto beats Pac? Wouldnt that just kill the momentum that was building up towards a potential mayweather-pacquiao fight?

    If PBF-JMM doesn't deliver at least a good fight, not sure PBF-Pacquiao will attract that much more than Cotto-Pacquiao....

    Right now, PBF needs Pacquiao more than the other way around as far as fights that will generate more....

    Boxers that fight safety first like Mayweather give reasons for younger fans to turn their backs on boxing and focus instead on MMA.
