    on thanksgiving.....

mayweather looked exceptional against canelo... i'll give him that....

but his last two fights have been quite disappointing....

    and pacman the same.....

now, avid pac and floyd fans will say they looked great but compared to the pacquiao that rearranged cotto's face and the mayweather that schooled marquez they both look like dog****.... truestory.

I liked 135 pound mayweather, before his hands problems, he was a beast, perfect offence and defense with power to add up ... They're both past their primes.

Yeah, all boxers who pass their prime should retire! :/

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao have declined, this is true. But some of the greatest fights - see Ali-Frazier III - have been between two great fighters who were past their best.

Mayweather-Pacquiao, when it happens - and it WILL - certainly has the potential to be a classic fight.

    This.

It's a fight many still want to see and 2 styles that would make for a interesting fight. I don't think any one has a problem with them retiring as they have already gave enough to the sport and have sealed their spots in the HOF, HOWEVER! They were/are still the best at 147 currently and both owe it to the fans to make the fight.

When Floyd looks certifiably beatable, then now they should both retire, how convenient for Mayweather fans, doesn't it ever bother any of you not knowing your guy is really the best. Deep down you already know the answer, he's not.

Mayweather should retire, but he will stick around and get beaten senseless for the next decade after blowing his money.

So saying a fighter is clearly past his prime(which he is) and should retire is inconvenient?

He's vulnerable to losing, now more than ever especially to Pacquiao, Floyd fans don't want to see that at all. So for Pacquiao fans yes its an inconvenience.

Pac, is badly worn, when was his last ko again? Floyd, is a pure boxer!! See the difference? He, changed his style & tune when juan conclusively blasted him into oblivion!! He, started testing the damn irony, of you selective amnesia folks!!

So because he's past it and vulnerable to losing it would be a crime for Mayweather fans to say he should retire?. I mean lets face it, this is WWE after all. Those guys going in there definitely don't risk getting literally killed, it's all scripted!

As a fan of both Mayweather and Pacquiao since 2003, I would honestly rather see Mayweather retire(especially if he doesn't want to continue anymore) and Pacquiao retire(only after he manages to get the ungrateful crook Marquez in a fifth fight). Two fighters past it fighters going at it is nothing worth bragging about.

It's hard to consistently score KOs when you're constantly fighting top class opposition.

Pac, stopped ko people after these drug testing started. Coincidence? Floyd, is just a pure boxer!! Was pac?
