Who do either have the best chance of beating and why? Or even who would they be most competitive against and why?

Rather than saying they get KTFO, what particularly counts against them in these matchups??

Both would stand the best chance against Griffith in his latter days at the weight, although I'd favor neither (certainly not over the more aggressive boxer-punching version of the early 60's). Pacquiao might be able to open up a fight-ending cut on Napoles once in a series, otherwise he hasn't a prayer.

I havent seen a few of those men fight tbh but the top 2 would have no problems with either..... Robinson knocks both men out & Leonard knocks Pacquiao out & UDs Mayweather.

is it their lack of size that counts against them or is it their lack of punch?? like i dont see how they can keep a lot of
these fighters off them..not sure they can earn their respect

Yeah, but you know how it is with Napoles. Those thin brows are always going to come up. I figured I'd get it out of the way before the inevitable "If the southpaw Backus could do it, Pacquiao could" line came up.

Pacquiao vs Napoles would be tough for both fighters......Mayweather vs Gavilan would be interesting in my opinion....

Mayweather would have a better chance of beating them than Pacquiao would.

C'mon Man, afford the greats of this division the same respect you do the heavies like Louis.

Neither of these two have beat more than a couple of capable fighters between them above lightweight and were plenty capable of going neck and neck with the good ones they did fight between feather and light.

Robinson, Gavilan, Rodriguez etc would take all that weight jumping(mostly totally unnecessary in Floyds case) two superfights against a lacklustre splinter champ\contender a year bull**** and ream them mercilessly.Probably wouldn't even need to fight their usual style, just march right in and let the combinations go.
