The Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley fight has reached atmospheric heights of buzz and promotion over the weeks, and as we’re nearing May 7, more and more details are released about the fight. Rapper Rick Ross confirmed on Twitter that he’ll be walking Pacquiao to the ring. Ross, aside from being a recording artist, is also known for his feud with 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr., one of Pacquiao’s boxing rivals.

On the music side of the fight, boxing examiner Michael Marley reveals, from inside sources, that “Eye of the Tiger” will be Pacquiao’s music for his walk to the ring while Mosley’s will be “Mama Said Knock You Out”. “Eye of the Tiger”, theme from the movie “Rocky”, will be performed live by the band Survivor and “Mama Said Knock You Out” will be performed live by LL Cool J. Charice’s counterpart, who will sing the USA anthem, “Star Spangled Banner”, is Tyrese. He is a recording artist and was also selected personally by Shane Mosley.

survivor and LL will sing live! :happy

jimi Jamison and Pac - two absolute legends walking side by side. I think that's the best ring entrance I have ever seen.

Loved it, not quite the best, for that we are looking at Vitai V Sam Peter or Naz V Kelly.

I think it's great for the entertainment side if these entrances can become common. I didn't like the 'Eye of the Tiger' song too much, because the guy had a weak voice, but LL Cool J was pretty good. It gives the fight a huge feel to it, so hopefully it's not the last we've seen. I'd like to see every major fight have a Klitschko-like entrance.

sissy boy, you try hitting jimmsons notes at 60f years old.

My house went nuts when we saw him sing live.

CBS deserves tons of credit for bringng up the production value of the fight. shitty outcome but they're not in control of that one.

LL Cool J killed it! Still a hype track and perfect for a ring a walk and LL still has that great delivery and clarity.
