The weakness in the shoulder roll fighting a southpaw. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q191D_1RENQ[/ame]
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqSS5uqNQvo&feature=related[/ame] worked fine for morales in round 3.
his hands are so damn fast his wide punches will beat MOST opponents straight punches...as much as i cant stand manny anymore the man's skills are incredible and the "loopy left hand" is fast, powerful, and dangerous...especially for a fighter with little defense
Can't deny that the man has talent. However there are holes in his defense wide enough to drive a bus through. If Mayweather makes it past the first 4, he will destroy Pacquiao.
The great ones find a way a to win. Even when Floyd was "hurt" he found a way to weather the storm. Bringing up Floyd's "troubles" against against a southpaw will always be a moot point because he's never been dominated by one. In fact, he's dominated them all. Floyd took more punishment than he should against Chop because fought Chop's fight in order to make a statement. Still, Floyd won by a wide margin. Zab gave him trouble for 4 rounds but what happened in the next 8 rds? Pac is a different animal BUT we know he has trouble against technical boxers who can throw a great right hand. Floyd can do what both JMM and Morales did but with much, much more speed.
Pac and Floyd are the guys to beat... We can argue back and forth all day about what happens. They both have been so dominant against fighters the other had struggled with....
Its the same way RJ will always have problems against southpaws. Technically, RJ and Floyd have the right hand up correctly to block a hook from a regular stance but against a southpaw, the left comes in straighter and bypasses the right hand block.
fight will be competitive with Floyd but I think Manny will get stopped late if he mans up n takes the tests...he's clean so theres no reason why he shouldn't take them...his "pride" is not an excuse not to take the tests...
Apparently you willfully ignored my last sentence. Pac struggled way much more against JMM than Floyd did against Corley. In fact, you can even make an argument Pac lost that rematch with JMM. So, according to your logic, just because he struggled against JMM, Pac should LOSE to Floyd. Am I right? Seriously, you folks need to realize Floyd has never had any trouble against southpaws. It's a damn myth. Sure, a fighter is going to lose a few rounds. He's not going to fight a perfect fight each and every time he gets in the ring. Remember, Floyd does not have to win all 12 rds against Pac. You are in denial if you don't think he can outbox him for at least 7 rds.
