How in tha hell can you defend this fight? This is THE EXACT SAME bullsh*t that Floyd pulls. Lets see if this is familiar... Belt holder coming off his biggest win who no one thought was really all that good before that.

Pac and Arum can eat a d*ck. This is crap.

Except Floyd fights way better guys than Algieri

Guerrero was a top 3 WW, this guy is a top 3 can who has had 0 amateur bouts

And yet he beat the most feared Jr. WW who also a belt holder. Algieri is legit. His lack of a well established namesake doesn't directly correlate to his effectiveness in the ring.

Algieri could give anyone at 140 a hard time, probably beating most.

Name me a fighter (not a Haymon fighter) who should Pac fight if not Algieri..
Abregu? Marquez 5? Alvarado? Bradley 3?

    The difference is:
Floyd choose his own fights, but he STILL cherrypicks
Pac is under contract with TR and relies on his promoter to set up fights

Mayweather and Marquez don't want to fight him. I don't know how anyone can blame Pacquiao. As someone pointed out, no one else left for him.

Shawn Porter is the only current welterweight that deserves a fight with Mayweather or Pacquiao but he's currently fighting Kell Brook.

Do you think fighting Algieri rather than Marquez 5 is greedy?
The fight will be most likely be held in Macau and they should be lucky to surpass Pac-Rios PPV in Macau..

Didn't Pacquiao just voluntarily decide to re-up with Arum? Furthermore, Arum has scared before that he brings options to Pacquiao, and Pacquiao makes the final decision as to who he fights.

Considering that this crap will be PPV, yes. I'd pay for Marquez/Manny like I always have. Manny will make all the money while Algeri will get 2 bucks and a couple egg rolls.

Pacquiao has a lack of opponents because his promoter has no intentions of working with any Haymon fighters. Pac seems to be done climbing weight, so that doesn't help either.
