But how does one become elite in the first place? Beating all of the bums?

    Terrible fight.

Unfortunately Pacquiao really has no one else to fight in Top Rank.

It means Mayweather himself has a choice not to cherrypick but he always does it, himself.

But what he's saying is that both guys are fighting cherry picked opponents. That means they're both on the same level. And since you're defending him, you must be agreeing. Are Floyd's and Pac's fights cherry picks, regardless who's picking?

I'm tired of bashing Pac right about now, so I'll apologize for this one. Pac has declined, and last time Pac fought an undefeated fighter he was supposed to bet easily...he lost, these factors legitimize the fight for me.

While it's not the fight people want to see, I don't think Algieri is a terrible opponent, but he's not a good one either. It's the hypocrisy of the fans that bothers me, personally.

Here's an added long shot of a factor, the attempted guarantee of a Pac win so that he does not take another hit in stock in preparation of Floyd-Pac showdown in May. I know..I'm a sucker and fool...

It's questionable whether this guy really deserved to beat Provodnikov. That makes this Pac's equivalent to Mayweather vs D Garcia although Garcia is actually more deserving of such a bout. Sorry as a Pac fan this makes 2 of his last 3 bouts that I'm not buying.
