Exactly. Arum and roach know that PBF will school Pac and they want to down play him an dismiss him as a threat. The guy does better numbers against common opponents but yet his demands of a 60/40 purse split are unreasonable?:patsch What a joke Arum and Roach are.

Log off fool PBF is proven to be the bigger draw.:deal He didn't price out **** team Pac doesn't want the fight because they know they will have to take less money and still get worked.

I agree he doesn't want him to fight them because it would mean he would have to finally shut the **** up and admit he was wrong and PBF is the truth. His days are numbered around here anyway a fight between PBF and either Cotto, Pac or Mosley is inevitable.

I didnt read all of this, just enough :-(

This is exactly what I expected, they were hoping & praying that 2 yrs out of the ring would show enough rust or decline that they could put their meal ticket (Pac of course) in there to beat him then claim he beat the real FMJ.... after viewing the Marquez fight & seeing that FMJ looks exactly the same, they said `**** that, lets get outta this **** quick, we`re not letting Pac get his ass kicked after all the bad mouthing & bragging we have been doing`

Id love it if Mayweather accepted any offer they gave him for a Pac fight just to see Roach & Arum **** themselves but the selfish ****s know that wont happen so we might as well kiss the biggest fight in boxing goodbye, same old ****.

Hopefully Pac tells Arum & Roach to **** off or make the fight for him & his own legacy but I doubt too that this will happen.

Pacquiao has given Roach and most importantly, Arum, many big pay days, therefore he should be given the last word in negociations with Mayweather.

He's about to leave the sport, as a multi-millionaire, if he really wants the Mayweather fight, he should do everything in his power to have it made.

Yea Mayweather was really tough to negotiate with in the De Le Hoya fight...

when De La Hoya wanted a 60/40 Mayweather said OK
when De La Hoya wanted it at 154 Mayweather said OK
when De La Hoya wanted bigger gloves Mayweather said OK
when De La Hoya wanted a smaller ring Mayweather said OK

Damn near impossible to negotiate with the man...

Arum and Roach are just being bitches right now..

To be honest with you.. my theory is that Arum has such a bad relationship with Floyd that he can't get any of his fighters fights with him. As a promoter that looks really bad, so I think Arum runs his mouth to much and tries to make Floyd the bad guy to keep his fighters happy..

Arum just wants all the money like floyd said and the fact he said there may be a pac cotto rematch proves it. How is trash talk gonna stop a fight bein made. Fear is gonna stop it, fear that manny will get beat just like everyone else floyd has fought. I say lets just make mayweather v mosley.

Put yourself in the situation... De La Hoya is the only true cash cow left up to that time. Fighting him guarantees at least 20 million, which equals to 2-3 fights normally for a big name. You're actually fighting a guy at the end of his career, which fights 1 a year at most... Of course the negociations will be easy...Mayweather was practically begging for a rematch !

If you are going to use the quotes posted in the opening post to draw that conclusion that Pac / Arum / Roach are ducking Mayweather, that what on earth must you conclude from the quotes of Mayweather?

If anything, to me it sounds like they are downplaying the possibility of the fight to force Mayweather to come out and actually want the fight more, to make negotiations easier. Mayweather could have negotiated with Pac after his Hatton victory but had the Marquez fight in the works instead.

If they didn't want the fight they wouldn't have talked about so much. Arum is all about $$$$ and there is no need to protect Manny for any other future fight down the road, - this would be it, assuming he beats Cotto which I admit is a very big IF right about now.

Anyways, back to my main point, which is that the thread starter unless he has some insane bias, should be calling Mayweather the biggest ducker in the history of modern boxing based on his quotes, his choices to make fights and his record, unless of course, he is blinded by adoration of Floyd.

Quick question Scar, if they know it'll be Pac's last fight should he get past Cotto, why would they duck anyone? If Pac is for it, they'll go for it. It does not make anymore sense to duck anyone, does it? If they are concerned of Pac's health, they'll stear clear of Shane, but not Floyd. I'm sure both Shane and Floyd will beat Pac, but the matter of how they'll do it, I'm sure Shane will give the worst beating of Pac's career. If they have somebody to duck, it had to be Shane.

We are all forgetting that if Pacman wins cottos belt, FMJ might become a mandatory challenger for the belt, we all know that Cotto was forced to put his belt on the line even though Pacman wasnt a ranked WW. :deal

Any reason to believe they wouldnt corrupt the boxing world again to make the biggest payday in boxing history?
