Nope. Because Floyd knows Hoya was the bigger draw. He can't say he's the bigger draw compare to hoya.

Yes, for a lower weight fight, it did extremely well. Being that it was a lower weight fight with neither fighter being mainstream like De La Hoya or Mayweather (post-De La Hoya), it had no real chance of drawing non-hardcore fans. You mention the fans, and of course ONLY the fans of either or both fighters would buy the PPV.

It's when you get to the millions (like what FMJ-JMM did) that a good number of them has to be casual fans who don't really follow boxing.

Anyways, whether or not the matchup itself was a good or a one-sided one, the entire point is that there was a ton invested into hyping and promoting the PPV (primarily to non-followers of boxing), and the investment paid off extremely well.

As for a new Pac-JMM matchup, if promoted as well as FMJ-JMM, it could very well do 1M buys or close to it as well because Pacquiao is becoming or even is now an established mainstream athlete in the U.S despite not having the benefit of having been on Dancing With the Stars or having exposure with the WWE (at least to Floyd's level).
