    Everybody is different.
Dejesus floors Duran...but Barkley can't put him down?????

Sometimes boxers get more resilient as they put on weight.
Maybe the slower speeds they encounter is enough to anticipate or avoid...

first off pac is like 5'5 i doubt he had to cut a lot of weight,

no steriods dont make all the difference but there has to be some reason,

and someone mentioned tall fighters and short fighters etc lol

ofcourse it makes a difference because in most cases the taller guy has to cut more weight...

and someone also said he is all muscle and sturdy etc....again
its rare that all the weight the guy has gained is muscle....

i mean that on it's own would not be a big deal but combined with other things...

and i would much rather be hit by morales then cotto or hatton lol

you mentioned about the middleweight to heavyweight thing etc i mentioned
but we all know that lower you go in weight the more every pound matters

and the more you go up in weight the less difference each pound makes, that's why somtimes you see a 220 pound heavyweight pushing around a 240 pound heavyweight....

Do you lift weights? Eat a lot of protein? Cuz to me it wouldn't seem so.
Pac started out at 16 years old with his body STILL developing. With lifting weights you can typically gain around 7-10 pounds a year SOLID MUSCLE! This does not mean any fat...Solid freakin muscle.
So, I don't care if Pac started out at 16 at 100 pounds. With enough lifting (even minus the natural body growth til he's 21) he could be 150 by the time he was 21-23! He's like what...32? A person could gain 50 pounds within 7 years, and that don't even seem like a ton. 7 Years is a long time
50 pounds of muscle growth in roughly 15 years is what he did (rough estimates). That doesn't even take in to consideration the fact he was weight drained, and now he doesn't even need to cut weight!

Back to the subject: Lighter divisions were faster, Pac was weight drained, and thus he got hit harder because he couldn't it see it coming, and was weak.
Pac is stronger now, is at a natural weight, he's quick for WW, and can see there punches coming.

Well first his neck and trap muscles are getting larger and stronger alowing him to take a shot much better than a fighter at welterweight 2 inches taller and the fact hes not drained. when you cut alot of weight ur brain gets rattled more from punches and they do more damage, this is why lighter fighters are more prone to death in the ring. im not sure if these are why hes taking punches better but its the best i can come up with.

    This.

Not sure about the brain rattling, but he may have built his neck muscles a lot more as he moved up in weight, that and Im sure they prepped him for the cotto fight with some hard punchers, maybe even middleweights, so that during the fight, it was no big deal since it was like back in camp.

Like he said something along the lines of: If you train really hard in camp, the fight comes a lot easier.

I was thinkin the exact same thing, except i would also say him not needing to drain himself to make weight will only imrove his ability as time goes on to take the hits from the bigger guys.

Yet another example of the abysmal IQ and reading comprehension the average Floyd Mayweather nuthugger has.

Why do you think a taller fighter has to lose more weight than a short fighter? maybe a shorter fighter is stockier in build and has to watch his weight like everyone else? :hey:hi:
