if you really look at it, he was getting hit more cleanly at the lower weight classes. he hasnt eaten a clean flush shot at 140 and above. dlh didnt land ****, hatton didnt really either. the only got that tagged him was cotto but cotto landed some tough blows that hurt pacquiao but they werent the flush shots he had taken before and cotto is not a 1 punch ko guy. plus it also harder for these bigger fighters to hit him clean cuz pac is much faster then them, unlike the lower weightclasses, where the speed difference is not as great

with all the hate aside, i think its about the level of skill marquez, barrera had. I mean on a p4p basis, a 147/140lb version of marquez, barrera would **** on hatton or cotto. That tells you a lot how overrated both hatton and cotto are, simply put it was a weak era of LWW when someone like hatton gets to be on top and it was a weak era of WW when you got an old mosley on top and cotto/margo who are both overrated in the top 5, thats why floyd didn't even bother before in the 1st place and people just couldn't see it.

plus a lot of people here have that wrong idea and make cotto out as some kind of power puncher but he is not

No. Hasnt been KO'd since 1999. (Singsurat, 112)

Hasnt been legitimately KD'ed since 2002. (Hussein, 122)

    IIRC.

I kinda think it could be (not necessarily is) both picking tailor made opponents and using PEDs. I actually predicted him to dominate all of his last four opponents, with the exception of Diaz since prior to that fight he didn't look too great in a fight with JMM. I expected him to stop Hatton, DLH, and Cotto but not in the brutal fashion he accomplished. I give Team Pac credit for fighting at a solid 147 though. Then again Clottey has stated he has problems making 147 which implies that he drains himself. :verysad

I think it is dope, good matchmaking on Roach's part, and the forgetfulness of Pac fans. I didn't say so for the TS.

Pacquiao has been getting hit a lot less. When he comes in he quickly covers up, as before he came in swinging and would get caught with counters

his defense is better and his opposition is worse.

  13. His punches seemed pretty effective against Cotto.

Supreme conditioning and his awsome leg muscles have improved his resistance has helped him maintain his chin as hes gone up in weight.
