Because there are a lot of instances where Pac says one thing, Arum says another thing, Roach says another thing, Ariza says another thing. Then nothing gets done.

If Arum isn't down then Pac would have to buy himself out from Arum in order to make the fight. There would be a lot more to happen even after Pac and Mayweather agreed to fight. And to believe all that would happen to make the fight isn't realistic.

No, as much as you'd like to believe that Pacquiao is the shot-caller in his own camp, it's clearly not the case at all.

Man, what is up with you people. Ever heard of the saying "coming from the horse's mouth"? Who cares what Team Pac say or do, I care more about Pacquiao's 2 cents. Again he said let's fight. What do you think would've happened if Floyd said yes to 50/50? Once it builds momentum, there's no turning back. Nothing got done because Floyd never let that momentum build. He took a hardline stance and that was all she wrote. Seriously, all he had to do was ok it and there would've been tremendous pressure for the fight getting made above all else. Of course the primadonna had other plans.

Pacman is losing all his credibility in 2012.

im glad he wont give that scavenger 50/50. he should let pac suffer with his bull**** purses. i didnt like seeing floyd have to practically beg for a fight with duckiao. One day pac will realize he will NEVER make that kind of money with anyone besides floyd and he will be begging for this fight.

That's not the point. I though Floyd was looking for "nobody but Pacquiao" next. What was all that calling out for when on the first hint of the fight becoming reality....he throws a roadblock and signs to fight somebody else. I mean :patsch:patsch, and still according ot *****s Pacquiao is ducking.

You have a rather loose understanding of "hint of the fight becoming reality"

Negotiations between Pacquiao and Cotto just fell apart 6 days ago due to weight issues. Cotto had been on the short list this entire time with Top Rank. Pacquiao's wife Jinkee already said Cotto was the pic weeks earlier and if Cotto agreed to the catch-weight bull**** again, he would've been.

Now, Cotto was lined up, the date was not agreed to by anyone other than Pacquiao (which has no control over such things) and you want to put the full blame on Mayweather cause he he didn't agree to the purse split, when Manny had said weeks prior that he would take the lower split "just to make the fight"?

Dude, both have their hand in not fighting each other. But you putting all the blame on one party shows how much of a ***** stan you are.

To be fair, I do have a literal understanding of what Pacquiao said.

Pacquiao: "All he has to do is accept 50/50 and the fight gets made"

Did you apply that literal understanding when Pacquiao was declaring that negotiations were almost complete in November? If not, I think you have to concede that Pacquiao's statements about fights inevitably getting made are not exactly the most accurate in the world.

Because Pac hasn't proven in the past that his words are final.

Again if Arum doesn't want to make that fight on May 5th, unless Pac is willing to buy himself out from Arum then there would have been no fight on May 5th reguardless.
