146 a week before the fight at 140 is about normal, my guess is that will be about were pac weighs come fight night. Small is Paul Williams fighting as a middleweight who was actaully eating heavy to get up to 160 and weighted 157 at fight time. These guys are getting scared and looking to make excuses for a Pac lose.:good
An excuse is basically all I believe this thread was started on! The size is not an issue anyway so it's a very bad excuse at that! :rofl
Hatton will be far stronger. He'll way 154 on Fight Night, and everybody knows about his physical strength at 140. And I wouldn't put it beyond Hatton being 5%, he probably works harder than anybody else in training. He comes in ripped on fight night.
None of this matters Tommy because Rumsfeld has already been singing the Hatton song. I think he's finished! :rofl:rofl:rofl
Doesnt Manny also let himself go between fights? As in not training much and poor diet and I think he ate himself out of 130 his performance against Morales in the 3rd fight is still one of if not his finest performance.
WTF? The guys all muscle and works like a maniac. If he ever gets past 155 I would be very surprised, while Hatton blows up to 180!
8 days... Damn... I'm still trying to process it all. This has really rushed up. Mercifully. I'm loving this matchup.
he didn't school Oscar, he barely won. he didn't school Castillo in two tries. he didn't school the majority of the top fighters in and around him during the peak of his career, he simply avoided them.
Rummy is not picking Hatton. If he does I will pay Bart to hack his account, change his pick to Pac KO1 and change his password so he can't log on and change his pick until after the fight has taken place.
140 is the correct weight for Pac now. I really don't want to see him fight at 147 ever again though and if he fights Floyd make him come down to 140. After he knocks out Hatton he should try for Floyd, if he can't get Floyd, then he should go for JMM at 140. He will knock out JMM at 140, if Floyd is still ducking and quacking, go for the top dog at 140, who will probably be Tim Bradley.
If I remember right, I think his normal weight when he wasnt fighting, back in 2000-2003, when he was at junior featherweight (122 lbs.) was 135 pounds.
