OK. But when were his best years? If I'm not mistaken, he was already a veteran fighter who was very near retirement when he stopped Barrera. I heard that fight was kinda his final shot for the big time.
.....another fantasy fight?!?atsch What's new?! 99% of the fantasy fight pac LOSSES by KO. I understand, you have to resort to FANTASY FIGHT to dismantle PAC! :good:hi:
He was very inconsistent but id say he was at his best in the mid 90s-97.. althought some would argue that he was past his prime when he defeated barrera. By the time Mckinney and Morales got to him, he was pretty much done.
Gayner was another one with no chin,he would run for a couple of rounds, land some fast right hands here and there but as soon as a punch touched is jaw it would be over.
Well mr Campbell what about:- Morales koing Jones in 4 Barrera beating Mckinney and obviously Robbie Pedan beating you twice As for the original statement its ****ing stupid
**** no.... bro, coming from the westcoast, i will be the first to tell you if that were true....but for some reason, mexicans over here love fighting blacks cause they all say "they can't take it to the body"
By this theory a person can just switch it and say Black fighters avoid Philippine fighters. Love Campbell, But this conspiracy theory is zero.
I can't think of who he could have actually avoided. Maybe Junior Jones? Neither Guzman nor Campbell ever really made much sense for Pac from a financial perspective.
Actually, Pac's manager and the local sports writers were talking and writing about that potential match up back in the early 2000s. They were saying that 118 isnt so far from 122 and maybe Manny could try to go down in weight class and challenge for Austin's title. Never happened, obviously.
