or stops J.M.M July 18th??? Will he get credit for the win? Will you agree that Floyd beat up J.M.M better than Pac did if you are a believer that he even beat J.M.M. Of course you will...but not his critics lol. J.M.M is too small and too old will be the parroted answer. 18 months, or how ever many months it was out of the ring, and Floyd is PICKING on an active #2 pfp fighter lol.

Pac fans are on fire right now lol. Pac is the talk/toast of the town. When July 18th comes around, will you Pac fans be crying that Floyd is/was too big for J.M.M? Of course you will. No offense, but if Floyd were a humble man IN YOUR EYES, many of you would say Floyd isn't a real ww, and that he is getting by on skill at ww. Half to three quarters of you posters would welcome his fight with Marquez. Don't worry, all of you will welcome the fight after you see both fighters on 24/7 lol.

Conversely, if PBF loses to, or struggles to beat JMM it won't look good for him, will it?

Or will you use the 'out of the ring for 18 months and fighting a guy who many believe beat Pacquaio' excuse then?

He'll get credit for being the first boxer to stop marquez if it happens but he wont get much respect since he is the bigger fighter of the two. The only way mayweather would finally get his props is if he fights cotto and mosley and beat them.

He won't get respect from Pac fans, and Floyd beating J.M.M and Pac is much bigger than beating Shane and Cotto.

All Floyd has to do is win, and he commands a fight with Pac. If Floyd loses, it is probably all over for Floyd. Floyd's fans can come up with a zillion excuses, and they won't be heard or accepted.

Any man who cries when their fighters loses, isn't a man. There is no such thing as miracles.

Void is Void. Castillo beat the crap out of him, everyone knows that.

I picked Pac one day and Hatton another day, could not make up my mind, but I did not expect Pac to win so easily. Said I was leaning toward Pac, leaning toward Hatton. Thought is would be a war, but Pac is much better than I though. Let's see Void fight Pac, but he won't. Let's see Void fight Cotto, Williams, etc., he will not. Void wants Christy Martin and some would buy that fight. I did not buy the fight and I am so glad I did not.

I picked Hopkins to knock Tito out, in a huge majority. I picked Lewis to beat Tua unlike the majority, etc. I never bet on fights for a very good reason.

How many fights has JMM had at 147 pounds?

"The two camps seem to disagree on the catch weight.

It’s 144, according to matchmaker Eric Gomez of Golden Boy Promotions, Marquez’s promoter. However, when Mayweather was asked repeatedly to confirm that, he refused to do so. He said more than once “that it’s welterweight (147-pound limit) fight.”

One source familiar with the negotiations said that weight was a point of contention throughout the talks. He also said the discrepancy has the potential to destroy the deal, in spite of the news conference to announce it on Saturday.

It might be difficult for Mayweather to get down to 144, and it seems that 147 is too big for Marquez.
    "

    From thr ring mag site.

If JMM v Manny I was the first fight JMM had at that weight, then it would be comparable.

But 22 pounds different in his first fight?

    **** off trollege ;)
