...say this hypothetical situation comes true. Where do you put him in your all time P4P list? I think this guarantees him top 10 on anyone's list, and top 5 on some peoples

He needs Mayweather in order to solidify a top 10 spot imo. The winner of Martinez/Williams is the next best thing but wont guranteed top 10 let alone top 5.

only if he goes to 160 and 168 to fight in the next super 6..then i'd put him at maybe top 25 at the most.

i'd put him in my top 10 if he achieved that.. a bown up lghtweight beating a 6 fott 1 Williams would be incredible.

I dont agree that he needs flyd to cement it.

That would be un fair, As it seems floyd don't want the fight.

I'd give him more respect for beating williams or Martinez at 154 thean floyd at 147.

Its not that crazy to think.

No one would have thought he'd fight Hatton, Cotto, Clottey or Margo 2 years ago. before DLH fight the thought of this was ental. SO it's not that crazy.

If he absolutely destroys Margo then maybe they'll go for it.

You still believe he's a blown up Lightweight? He grew into Light Welter...and he's showing signs of growing into Welterweight now.

Take a look at the Hatton and Cotto bouts...Pacquiao looks the bigger guy. He's not blown up, he's grown into the weights.

He fought Cotto at catchweight which is why he looked bigger against his weight-drained opponent.

Nah...I don't buy into that bollocks that he was weight-drained. It must have been harder to reach 145lbs than say 146 or 147lbs...but I highly doubt he was weight-drained. Plus the fact that I've never seen a post fight interview from him claiming he was weight-drained. If the boxer himself never says it...it's all conspiracy rather than fact.

Cotto's tale of the tape when he is not "weight-drained" is almost identical to the Pacquiao that fought Cotto...if I remember rightly.

1 pound doesn't suddenly make you a lot smaller.

If Pacquiao were to fight the winner of Williams-Martinez, I guarantee it would be at 155 so it would be for the Middleweight title.

Top 10 ever? I don't know. It would be an incredible accomplishment though. Whatever your subjective ranking of Pac is, he's earned the right to be talked about in the same vein as the ATG's and I think that should be enough for anyone.

I don't think it would happen but he would be right up there, top 3 or 4 if he did.
