Yes, you heard it here. Come argue your point if you can.

Pac has won a version of a world title in 7 and soon 8 weight classes,
and has consistently taken big risks and challenges that most thought
he'd lose. He's also fought in a valiant and entertaining way which is what
boxing is all about. (Why mayweather isn't being considered) RJJ did the same thing but chooses to fight on despite having lost all of his previous ability. (Still doesn't disqualify his acheivements) RJJ was also an entertainer like pac, and even more of one. He just hasn't taken quite the risks that pac has, or won as impressively. Each fighter is in a class of their own and the record books will say that for a long time to come.
You cannot name me a better fighter than these 2 from 1980 on.

Hagler one a title in only one division, and started in career in the 70's.
Whitaker, ehhhh close. he's 3rd behind roy, leonard? No
Dominant welter but he lost to hagler at 160. Sorry. bad decision. that
isn't enough to eclipse pac or roy.

You could argue Duran was better in his lightweight days before the 80's but I see what you mean.

I think you two are just waxing nostalgia. These fighters of the golden era had each other, but they haven't acheived the same greatness on an individual basis that pac and roy have. They are ATG don't get me wrong, but they're just not quite on par with the 2 aforementioned.

So what if he started his career in the 70's? You never specified. I dont think it matters he only won a title in one division, I think he's just a better fighter, same for Whitaker, I think he would beat Pacquiao. And even if you think Hagler won(which I do), Leonard still has wins over Duran x2 and Hearns.

If by last 30 years you mean any fighter that was still active, including Ali, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, etc. then no. if you mean fighters whos creeers spanned entirely in the last 30 years, than I guess you could make an argument. Pac may be #1. I would rank Whitaker, Chavez, and arguably Camacho ahead of Jones.

Sorry, i forgot about RJJ. Roy jones twin brother.:-(

Lewis, holy, and tyson were just names. They haven't combined
acheived what each fighter that i mentioned have done.

You think hagler would beat pac? I don't. I'm sure he would. But WTF does that have to do with him being a better fighter. What wins does hagler have that (and maybe i should specify for you, p4p) eclipses pac's or RJJ's?
Leonard also has a loss to duran, and hearns got KO'd by hagler. Who at his prime was a 147 or 154'er. See my point? they had each other. If one guy had've beaten ALL the atg's in that era and reigned supreme, then you would have an arguement. As for whitaker. On par skill wise, but he just didn't have the same luster. Plus he dropped alot of his important fights. Pac and roy haven't.

Hector, is that you? Possibly or maybe definitely chavez and whitaker
if roy hadn't won the heavyweight title, but that tipped it. Especially winning every round. Ali? Dude was a corpse in the 80's. geez man
    learn the sport.

I dont see what your point is...You say leonard has a loss to Duran, well Pacquaio has a loss to Morales and arguabaly to JMM...Who is better Duran or Morales??? Leonard avanged his loss to Duran, and also managed to beat Hearns and Hagler, which trump any victories by both Pac and Jones.

    So yeah, Leonard >>>>>> both.
