Using any criteria you like, I can't see how anyone could argue with much validity that Ray Leonard has not been the greatest fighter of the past 30 years. I'm not a Leonard fan, but he is a clear, clear number 1 in pretty much every way.

Lets just end this debate here.

Pac had/has some very good wins. He's an outstanding fighter who dominated a lot of other very good fighters. He's a great fighter

And you can talk about fighting style etc, but the bottom line is this:

Ray Leonard beat "possibly" the greatest MW of ALL TIME in Marvin Hagler at MW.

Ray Leonard beat "possibly" the greatest LW of ALL TIME in Roberto Duran, admitedly at WW.

Ray Leonard beat one of the head-2-head worst match-ups of ALL TIME at WW, and one of the best WW's of ALL TIME in Tommy Hearns.

Ray Leonard beat (and stopped) one of the greatest of ALL TIME defensive technicians at WW in Benitez.

Thank you very much. Leonard has better wins and stylistically would beat Pacquiao not to mention his physical attributes. Ray was one of the most well rounded and versatile boxers of all time. I cringe whenever I hear anybody say Pacquiao is better than him.

Pacquio would not past the third round against any of those mentioned above, and I'll include duran there too.

I think wilfredo Gomez should b ranked ahead of Pacroid,

For things he achieved in the past 30 years??

Nah. Gomez's prime years were in the 70s. Getting brutalized by Sanchez and Nelson within the last 30 years does not equal what Pacquiao has achieved in his entire career.

I think you need to consider the timeline here.
