Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Desert Storm Bradley, Jr. wrapped up their two-city, coast-to-coast media tour today with a New York City news conference in The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers at Pier 60. The fighters, their respective trainers Freddie Roach and Joel Diaz, and Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum discussed the June 9 fight, which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and be a blockbuster pay-per-view event. Tim Bradley: 18 years of my life Ive been training in this game of boxing. I waited for this breakout moment and this is my moment. Pacquiao was in this moment when he faced some of the best Mexican opponents of all time, Morales, Marquez so he knows exactly what Im feeling and what I want. I feel its going to be a great fight. Im up for the challenge, and just want to let everyone know Im not just here for a paycheck, baby. Im here to win this fight. If youve seen me fight before, you know I come to fight and that night is going to be a war! Manny Pacquiao: Im sure its going to be a good fight because of Tim Bradleys style. He loves to fight toe-to-toe. But my problem is the headbutts, so we need to watch that. Im pretty sure we can give a good fight and we can create a lot of boxing on June 9. So please dont miss it. Its going to be a historic fight. I want to thank God. All my achievements come from him. Without God I am nothing so Id like to encourage all of you to please read the bible because thats the commandments of God and we need to follow Gods commandments.
