That "lucky shot" was hitting it's mark since round 1. If anyone cares to look for it, JMM hit Pac with a similar shot about 3-4 seconds prior to the KO but Pac absorbed it better cause he pulled away from it.
Sounds dumb but it could be useful to motivate himself to get back in the ring stronger than before. Better than thinking of himself as a failure and falling off the face of the earth like Hatton did.
A shot he got hit with probably 10 times in four fights is lucky? I think Pac is the one who is lucky that JMM didn't get that much momentum on it before.
