Fighting a good champion in Ledwaba and absolutely demolished him in 5. I can't think of any great fighters who started their greatness that way.

thats one of his most underated performances people often forget. ledwaba was good! and he was expected to run over just about anyone that took a fight with a champion on 2 weeks noticed let alone unknown "manny pacquiao"

what actually transpired was a pretty big beatdown in favor of pac, i bet everyone was walking out after the fight going "who the **** is that guy"

He was the underdog against Ledwaba too.

    The exact same result

Pacquiao was in excellent condition all the time because he used to fight frequently back then.

Ledwaba was fighting every 4 months. Prior to the Pacquiao fight he fought in February (9 rounds), April (12 rounds), and then Pacquiao in June. That's 3 fights 4 months. Dude was warn out lol.

Pacquiao fought almost on the same dates, but 5 rounds in Feb, and 6 rounds in April. So Pacquiao's opponent was last minute but his training wasn't.

Both men should've been worn out fighting that often but Ledwaba had 21 rounds to Pacquiao's 11. Pacquiao probably would've won either way though.
