than dont pay attention to floyd cuz he fights in mismatch fights so u dont needa worry bout him...u should just talk about fighters who only fight real fights like mannie..bottom line is that floyd would do more against any common opponent

Ya'll sure wasn't saying this before the fight...:bart if ur mad cuz u didn't get the action u wanted than thats your own fault...u know how floyd fights and you know he is a saftey first fighter and not always crowd pleasing...ur fault..probably should stay away from ordering ppv's that involve styles that dont make for "fan friendly" fights:good

Before the fight i predicted that JMM wouldn't win a round and would probably get stopped. On that basis it was actually a poor performance by Floyd. It was an obvious mismatch, a total joke.

Pac v JMM at 147 would be a massive mismatch also. Pac would stop him. Clottey at 147 is a tougher fight than JMM at 147, to say otherwise is pure fanboy nonsense.

Floyd should have stopped JMM. At least Wladimir KO'd Chambers in the last seconds after jabbing for almost the whole 12 rounds.

This. I don't know how people are arguing that March 13th was better than Sept 19th. Sept 19th had decent undercards. The main event had a small man who didn't quit, but March 13th's final fight had fighter with a major size advantage who wasn't even there to do anything as evident from rd 1.:patsch

Not many people were complaining after the Mayweather-Marquez fight.

You had the chance to see the best in the world showcase his skills and fight a near flawless fight.

He could have knocked out JMM whenever he wanted to. Watching him toy with one of the top P4P fighters in the world was fun to watch.

Pacquiao throwing a bunch of punches off of Clottey's gloves for 12 rounds is a completely different story.

They were both shite to be fair, unless you are a massive fan of either Mayweather or Pacquiao. The Mayweather-JMM fight was a mismatch from the second it was signed and really was a sham of a fight. The Pac-Clottey fight was also never going to be competetive, but at least Pac wasn't making someone move up 2 weight classes from a division in which they already looked overweight.

I don't even know why some consider it a showcase. Of what?

If there is a showcase in that fight, it is how to really, really, really stack up a fight in your favor, then spit on your opponent further by stacking it further by coming in 2 pounds over the weight agreed upon.

Then on the fight night, stack it further by become an exclusive counterpuncher againts a small, slower, older, less powerful counterpuncher.

    What a masterful showcase really!!!!!!

I have posted even before this fight that if the fight would end up in a decision, it would be a disgrace!

Showcases should be left at sparring, not in professional fights that cost 50 bucks.
