Now that the Clottey fight seems to selling better than expected (At least well early on), this puts pressure for Floyd vs Mosley to happen.

This might be the push to get a quick announcement to try calming the news about the fight selling well.

there is no pressure. mgm or any las vegas venue can't compete with the dallas stadium in terms of size, seats.

mosley/pbf seats would easily sell 200 bucks for the cheap seats.

Yeah...Mayweather-Mosley will end up generating more money anyway since more money is generated from PPV sales than ticket sales. Plus tickets are more expensive at the MGM Grand than in Dallas.

The pressure should come from the sour taste in everyone's mouth coming from the Mayweather-Pacquiao debacle. At least make up for it somewhat by fighting good opponents. I think Pacquiao is doing his part, now Floyd hopefully will do so shortly.

I hate when fans talk about PPV buys and seat prices.
Floyd is convincing fans he should pick fights based on PPV sales and not competition.
    Disgusting turn in the sport.

I doubt it as everyone knows that a Mosley vs Mayweather fight is far bigger than Pac vs Clottey.

I don't think Floyd is necessarily convincing anyone. But, you fail to look at it objectively.

For hardcore fans, sure, you'd probably want to see this or that fight, but it'll do less PPV numbers. On the other hand, if another fight is doing more PPV buys, then maybe its the fight that most people want to see. In that sense, perhaps they are pleasing the most boxing fans.

Sadly, boxing is a business... when you're on top you get to call the shots. But to get there its hard work.
