C'mon new fellaz...we all know that Mosley-Mayweather is gonna do more buys than PAC-CLOTTEY..**** EVEN THE PAC FANS (MOST OF EM ARE BIAS TOWARDS MANNY EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW HE IS WRONG) will admit that Floyd-Mosley will beat the Pac-Clottey fight

HOWEVER I DO THINK ITS FAIR TO COMPARE MAYWEATHER-MOSLEY TO PACQUIAO-COTTO...:good IF FLOYD DOES SAY, 1.7 MILLION WITH MOSLEY IN COMPARISON WITH PAC'S 1.2 WITH COTTO THAN FLOYD WOULD HAVE MORE THAN A RIGHT TO DEMAND AT LEAST A 52-48 SPLIT...

AGREED? AND MANNY FANS DONT BE ALL BIAS AND ACTIN LIKE U DONT KNOW ****..IF IT WAS MANNY IN THIS SPOT YA'LL WOULD BE QUICK TO POINT OUT HE GOT A RIGHT TO ASK FOR THE 52 PERCENT..

    THOUGHTS ON IT THOUGH?:hat

whats with you floyd fans talking about purse split all of a sudden

ever since the Pac/Clottey fight you all seemed to disregard what stopped the Pac/PBF from happening in the first place

NOT AT ALL REALLY..IF ANYTHING THE CLOTTEY FIGHT HURT MANNY IN NEGOTIATIONS MORE THAN IT HELPED.IT ALSO EXPOSED A LOT OF WEAKNESSES IN MANNIES GAME BUT THATS FOR ANOTHER DISCUSSION ISN'T IT....
MANNY NOT TAKING A SIMPLE 4 MINUTE BLOOD TEST IS WHAT STOPPED IT BUT THATS ALSO NOT FOR THIS THREAD

NOW STICK TO THE THREAD TOPIC:deal DO U AGREE THAT THE CLOTTEY FIGHT WONT BE A FAIR COMPARISON AND THAT THE MOSLEY-MAYWEATHER IS FAR MORE SUITED WHEN IT COMES TO A PURSE SPLIT IN COMPARISON TO PAC-COTTO??:think

BTW I WATCH THE SPORT ALL AROUND...I DONT JUST FOLLOW FLOYD MAYWEATHER.. I WAS WATCHING THE SPORT BEFORE HE WAS A PRO AND I'LL WATCH IT AFTER HE RETIRES...I DONT JUST WATCH ONE FIGHTER AND WHATS GOING ON AROUND HIM LIKE PACQUIAO FANS DO

You don't even watch Floyd. You just wait for the PPV numbers after his fight. You sit in google clicking "search" for days until an article comes up.

I kind of hope Mayweather-Mosley doesn't do that great with PPV sales just because it might complicate negotiations for a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, provided Mayweather wins.

if pac/clottey draw more than half a million...mayweather/clottey will be a little less than 200.000...just my guess..i bet its even lesser..no one would wanna watch mayweather if its not against pac or mosely..mayweather/clottey would be a sleeper..

clottey is more known than baldomir and floyd did 350k with carlos....im sure mayweather clottey would do more than that just for the simple fact that clottey is more known than baldomir and pac is now known more than floyd was before the carlos fight

    next one please

What needs to be taken into consideration with PPV numbers is how big the guts were at the time. Mayweather fans talk about the Marquez fights selling more with Mayweather than Pacquiao, but they should do because Pacquiao wasn't a big draw then. I'd expect Pacquiao/Baldomir to do well over 350,000 but it wouldn't prove anything.

I do think saying that whichever PPV wins between Pacquiao/Cotto and Mayweather/Mosley, is simply the bigger draw. Cotto and Mosley are similar, so it would then come down to Pacquiao or Mayweather. That said, they should just make it 50/50 for ease. 51/49 or whatever is far too petty.
