Who gives a flying ****. Both of these guys are huge. against any opponent, who sells the most could change. 51-49, 5s-48..all stupid pointless ****. 50-50 is what they need to do and it's more then fair.

Try to see if Floyd can sell 50K tickets vs. an unknown fighter.

Floyd won't get more than 50/50. I don't see it happening at all.

PPV records show Mayweather is the bigger draw and if his fight with Mosley does well then you can't blame him for expecting a larger slice of the split, after all it all points to him bringing more money in to the fight so it's only to be expected that he will walk away with more.

Someone pointed out that if Pacquiao was American he would be a bigger draw, while that point may be true the fact is he isn't American and he isn't bringing as much money to the table, so why should he walk away with 50/50?

Before someone says Pac is P4P#1 so deserves 50/50, where was Mayweather in the P4P rankings when he fought De La Hoya and what sort of split did he get?

if floyd does better numbers with the mosley fight over the PAC-COTTO fight than I believe he will have earned it...i dont mean 100 or 200 thousand buys..i mean if he does around 2.0 million than I see no reason why he wouldn't be able to demand more...HE WOULD BE THE BIGGER DRAW AND IT WILL BE ALL BUT PROVEN:deal

put yourself in Pac's shoes. Would you give Floyd a bigger piece of the PPV pie? If it were me, I wouldn't even consider it.

Pac has two choices; give in to Floyd's demands or go fight Plaster of Paris Margarito. It's his choice. That's nice that his fight with Clottey drew almost 51K fans. However, that live gate was probably about equal to the Mayweather/Marquez gate which was attended by a fraction of the fans.

I don't think money is the main issue here. Pac is reported to have made 22 million vs Cotto and 17-20 million vs Clottey and those fights were less than 4 months apart. At that rate Pac could make about 60million dollars a year without fighting Floyd.

That's fine. Again, he's going to have to give in to Floyd's demands or fight Plaster of Paris Margarito. Floyd might go ahead and concede a 50/50 split, but I doubt he'll concede on the drug testing.
