I can agree with this! But you know that marketing with Golden boy vs Top Rank ain't even a comparison. Oscar goes ALL OUT in promotions for his big fights getting endorsments from big companies like Southwest Airlines....NASCAR...ect I remember the marketing for the DLH vs Floyd fight....it was incredible. If the marketing for Floyd vs Shane is on that level I think we'll see this fight reach closer to 2Mill in PPV buys.

Sup Philla..yea I know what you mean..."There is enough money there that 50/50 is fair even if he does beat up on the Cotto-Pacquiao fight"..

I completley respect that..IM JUST SAYING HE WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR A BIGGER SHARE IF HE DOES MORE NUMBERS IN THIS FIGHT THAN PAC DID IN THE COTTO FIGHT..

I also was simply stating in this thread (most pac fans took offense to it for some reason) THAT IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR TO COMPARE THE CLOTTEY-PAC TO THE MAYWEATHER-MOSLEY CUZ PAC DIDN'T HAVE A DANCE PARTNER..

THE COTTO FIGHT HOWEVER IS A FAIR COMPARISON AS TO WHO THE BIGGER DRAW IS:thumbsup

you guys don't even get it, floyd doesn't fight anyone that doesn't help his ppv numbers, if floyd had fought Clottey you think anyone would pay for that. Fighting guys like marquez, huge following or mosley will help him. As far as anything more than a 50-50 you guys are delusional. Pac brings in watchers because of his skill level, floyd brings in watchers because of his opponents

Te purse should be 50/50 but i agree the Mosley v Mayweather fight is a far better match.I thought Clottey would be totaly useless against Manny as did many people. The way that fight went was no suprise. The Cotto fight is the best i think Manny has had.

understand the 50/50...BUT IF FLOYD BLOWS OUT THE COTTO FIGHT THAN WHAT DOES THAT REALLY SAY ABOUT MANNY AND HOW MUCH OF A COMPARISON HE IS AS FAR AS BEING "THE DRAW"???

The thread is here to support why Floyd has a right to ask for more if this fight does more than the Cotto-Pac...Alot of fans wanna compare it to the Clottey fight and I think that is not a fair comparison..a fair comparison would be the Cotto-Pac fight:good
