Pac/Clottey isnt a big enough fight for a venue like Dallas Stadium!

    hmm says . . .

I'm sure the sheer size and number of seats, there will be much cheaper tickets to gain a pretty good draw... there's lots of Asians in Dallas and Mexicans and whatever... casual boxing fans or not they'll eat it up...
I hope to see that big humongous 3D screen they will use that Jerry Jones and Arum were talking about if they land a fight in Dallas Stadium... something high tech and new.....

i think it will actually do well simply because you got a mega star in Pac now plus he has been in the media a lot lately plus it will the Dallas stadium first boxing event which will attract more people i think it will do just fine.

If the tickets are dirt cheap and there is popular regional fighters on the undercard and they scale back the stadiums capacity, they'll draw a decent crowd. **** there is people that will go just to get into the stadium as cowboy tickets are exepnsive and hard to come across and a lot of people want to check out the new stadium.

All that being said I agree that it's not the proper venue. If you have to go through all that trouble just to fill a place to about 35% capacity, you aren't doing it justice.

Agreed but Pac is the biggest draw in boxing right now. He will put the butt in the seats guaranteed.

I agree. Very few fights held in the US are capable of attracting 50,000 fans. No American involvement, Clottey doesn't have a belt, is coming of a loss, is not well known... I can't imagine them getting any more than a 15,000 attendance tops.

If its got Margarito's comeback and another couple of decent undercard fights it'll be big enough.

When Pacquaio fought Jorge Solis nearly 3 years ago in Texas, the attendance was around 15k. Needless to say he's a much bigger star right now and is capable of pulling in bigger crowds.

Unless ticket prices are overpriced, which certainly is a possibility, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see the place sell out. Not only is a Manny a major attraction now, but the fact that this card is taking place at Cowboys stadium also will produce more interest than had it taken place at a regular venue in Vegas.
